Dinner on the Rocks
>From the blazing sun to the salsa music and jalapeño peppers in the food, there's a lot about Mexico that's muy caliente. In fact, we hear the native rocks surrounding Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita, an oasis of relaxation located on a nature reserve, are so hot you can fry a steak on them. No, really! Allow us to explain.
In keeping with ancient cooking practices, where fire-warmed stones were used in place of a stove, Aramara - the Resort's hip new contemporary Asian Restaurant - has created the sizzling new "Hot Rock" dish. As a lively Cuban band plays in the background, heated Punta Mita stones will be brought to your table, along with a platter of thinly sliced and seasoned premium beef. Toss the steak over the rocks with chopsticks until it's done just the way you like it. The process won't take long, but we highly recommend a Green Tea Martini or cup of sake to help pass the time.
A stunning ocean view, an interactive gourmet experience and a delicious meal . . .
