Gary Gentile, former general manager of the largest Marriott Convention Hotel in Georgia, has been named General Manager of the Eden Roc Renaissance Resort and Spa, a thriving Miami Beach hotel.
Gentile has been an integral part of the Marriott team for more than ten years winning multiple awards, including the "Host Marriott Best in Class Owner Communication Award" for his work at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis.
"I am thrilled about my new position at the Eden Roc because this is a pivotal time for the Florida beach resort. With a $110 million capital investment planned for the property, it is an exciting time to be heading the leadership team for this signature hotel," said Gentile. "We are all looking forward to the Bold New Eden Roc and the opportunities that this new era will provide for the employees, the brand, our community and guests."
Graduating with honors from the University of Phoenix, Gentile received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. As a leader of one of the Marriott Renaissance premiere hotels, Gentile's responsibilities included implementation and execution of cutting-edge, company-wide strategies, and growing the assets and finances of the hotel, while strengthening strategic alliances within the business community.
