Preferred Hotel Group Selects VFM Leonardo as Exclusive Provider of Visual Content Distribution Services

Member properties of Preferred Hotel Group's brands: Preferred Hotels® & Resorts, Preferred Boutique™, Summit Hotels & Resorts™ and Sterling Hotels™ to use VFM Leonardo's VScape® and VBrochure™ products exclusively to distribute photos and rich media (virtual tours and videos) to 30,000+ electronic channels and travel websites in VNetwork™.
VFM Leonardo, leader in online visual content distribution for hotels, today announced it has been selected by the Preferred Hotel Group, the premiere global partner for the world's best independent hotels and resorts, as their exclusive provider of visual content (photos and rich media) distribution services. Preferred Hotel Group will be using an Enterprise version of VFM Leonardo's VScape Digital Asset Management System to manage and distribute photographs for member properties of Preferred Hotels® & Resorts, Preferred Boutique™, Summit Hotels & Resorts™ and Sterling Hotels™. As such, member properties will be able to access and update their still images through VScape.
VScape will streamline the storage and management of hotel visual content and distribute it consistently and in a timely manner to the broadest number of websites, including all four GDSs, Pegasus and travel-related channels including online travel agencies, travel research and supplier web sites, search portals and major travel intermediaries. Further, VScape is integrated with the Preferred Hotel Group's digital library, so that the visual content housed there is always current and consistent with what the hotel members have in VScape. It allows registered users to quickly select the property they are seeking visual content for and download approved images for use in marketing collateral to satisfy internal and external requests.

As part of the agreement, Preferred has also chosen VFM Leonardo's VBrochure product as the exclusive method for its member hotels to distribute richer forms of media including virtual tours, video, flash, interactive maps and pdf documents. Through VBrochure's integration with VScape, individual hotels will be able to supplement their still image distribution by adding more and/or richer forms of media. They will also be able to view reports on where and how often their visual content is being viewed among many other significant features.
