Nitin Abbi, Four Seasons Resort Seychelles new General Manager Crédit photo © Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts Four Seasons Resort Seychelles announces the appointment and promotion of Nitin Abbi as the Resort’s new General Manager.
With a distinguished career spanning almost two decades and a remarkable track record, Nitin brings a wealth of global hospitality experience to his new role. Most recently, he held a seven-year tenure at Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru, where he helped to position the Resort as one of the most acclaimed holiday destinations in the Indian Ocean.
A graduate of the famed Les Roches International School of Hotel Management, Switzerland, Nitin is known for his dynamic leadership and unwavering commitment to excellence. His career reflects a deep passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and fostering a culture of service and innovation.
Building genuine connections and engaging deeply with others and the environment are just some of the lessons that Nitin will take from his time in the Maldives to his new role in the Seychelles.
"We are in the people industry but the true luxury lies in building meaningful emotional bonds with team members, local communities and guests," he explains.
"And it all starts with investing time, energy and heart into the team; we are only as good as the team around us and it is only when we feel valued as people that we are inspired to go the extra mile to look passionately after our guests."
Nitin describes Seychelles as “a homecoming,” having previously moved for work in 2016 to Silhouette Island.
“It's an incredible honour to return to the destination and lead a team in such a breathtaking location, where every day offers the chance to make a lasting impact on our guests and the community."
When Nitin takes a break from his responsibilities at work, he enjoys long runs, playing football with his team, trying out his new skills in golf and padel, and sampling cuisines from around the world including one of his favourites: Creole nights accompanied by moutya – a traditional dance in Seychelles.
