Tapas Bar at Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong is celebrating the lucky number eight with The 8th Estate Winery, Hong Kong’s first winery, from now until 28 December 2009. Guests can take advantage of this opportunity to be one of the first to savour the winery’s first red and white vintages, which are only available in Tapas Bar on the hotel, bar and restaurant scene in Hong Kong.
Priced at HK$88 per glass and HK$388 per bottle, the wines featured are Sauvignon Blanc, Un-oaked Chardonnay, Heritage and Shiraz. To give greater pleasure to the wine experience from 5 to 8 p.m., guests can receive a complimentary glass of wine with the purchase of wine by the glass. During the eighth hour from 8:01 p.m. to 8:59 p.m., guests will only pay 88 per cent of the original prices of wines of The 8th Estate, which are Sauvignon Blanc, Un-oaked Chardonnay, Heritage and Shiraz. All prices are subject to a 10 per cent service charge.
Tapas Bar is a wine bar where guests can find a wide selection of New World wines and international tapas accompanied with harbour views. Guests can choose to enjoy a glass of wine and international tapas in the comfort of the bar or under the stars in the open air. In 2003 and 2004, the US magazine Wine Spectator honoured Tapas Bar with the “Award of Excellence.” Tapas Bar also features an open kitchen serving a range of international tapas as snacks or for a meal.
