Pan Pacific Hotels Group announced today the appointment of Chua Chi Min as Vice President, Openings and Rebranding.
Boasting 15 years of experience in hospitality and property development, Chi Min, in his new role, will lead a matrix team from operations, brands, revenue, people, technical services, finance, quality and information technology to ensure capabilities and processes are in place for new hotel openings and rebranding.
Chi Min, a law graduate from the United Kingdom’s University of Leeds, has extensive experience in property development, specialising in country clubs, hotels, high-end condominium projects and innovative housing developments. His last appointment was as an Executive Director with Pulai Springs Berhad, a Malaysian Main Board Listed Company, where he oversaw operations of the company and its offices in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. In that role, Chi Min also developed strategic direction for the company’s business ventures in the Asian region, including China, India, Singapore and Indonesia.
“The story of Pan Pacific Hotels Group in the coming years will be all about growth. Chi Min, a very experienced and talented leader, will ensure coherence and the success of our rebranding and opening plans,” said Mr. A. Patrick Imbardelli, President and CEO, Pan Pacific Hotels Group.
“I am really excited to be part of Pan Pacific Hotels Group’s growth and to spearhead its implementation is a great challenge,” said Chi Min. “My team and I are fully dedicated to making every pre-opening and rebranding a success. We are certain that our first rebranding project, Pan Pacific Xiamen, will demonstrate this.”
Pan Pacific Xiamen (panpacific.com/Xiamen) opens 1 August following a series of hotel enhancements to deliver the level of personalised experience synonymous with the Pan Pacific brand. The 29-storey hotel, with 387 contemporary rooms and suites, is located 20 minutes away from Gaoqi International Airport and within walking distance to the business district. Sightseeing attractions including the picturesque Yundang Lake, Gulang Yu Island and the historic Nanputuo Temple are all within close proximity.
