InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) [LON: IHG, NYSE: IHG (ADRs)], the world’s largest hotel group by number of rooms, has named Gregory J. Fox, regional director, Franchise Sales, Northeastern U.S.
Based in Paramus, N.J., and reporting to Roland Schick, vice president, Franchise Sales, East Region, Fox is responsible for midscale franchise development, spanning the Hotel Indigo, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Staybridge Suites and Candlewood Suites brands in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont.
Prior to joining InterContinental Hotels Group, Fox served as regional vice president for Cendant Hotel Group. In this position, Fox was responsible for new development across one third of the U.S. and Eastern Canada. A 22-year veteran in the hospitality industry, Fox has also worked for American General Hospitality, Prime Hospitality and Sheraton Hotels, where he has held management positions in marketing, sales and operations.
