Crestline Hotels & Resorts, Inc. today announced the appointment of Peggy Baker as Director of Sales for the Hilton Garden Inn and the Homewood Suites hotels that are under construction in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. The co-joined properties are scheduled to open in the summer of 2007 and are managed by Crestline Hotels & Resorts. The hotels are located only one block from the city’s picturesque waterfront and within walking distance to Baltimore's most popular neighborhoods for dining, shopping and entertainment. The location is perfect for business and pleasure, and is a 15 minute ride to the Baltimore Washington International Airport.
Ms. Baker brings 15 years of hospitality industry sales, marketing and revenue management experience to her new role. She joins Crestline from Interstate Hotels & Resorts where she was director of sales and marketing. She has also held management positions with Holiday Inn Hotels, the Harbor Court Hotel Baltimore and Courtyard by Marriott.
“Peggy brings knowledge of the Baltimore business market coupled with excellent sales leadership capabilities,” said Vicki Denfeld, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Crestline Hotels & Resorts. “We welcome her leadership capabilities as we prepare to open these two new hotels that are a key component to the resurgence of this picturesque Baltimore community,” add Denfeld.
