Denis Hüttig, the long-serving Vice President Operations at Steigenberger Resorts, will be taking charge of leadership and vision for all hotels operating under the Steigenberger brand with immediate effect. This means that he will also assume overall responsibility for further development of the hotels and resorts. Mr. Hüttig is a seasoned hotelier and strategist. He joined the group in 2012 and has a broad range of experience in the 4-star and 5-star hotel segment. After successfully completing an MBA in Change Management, he took on a number of managerial roles, including at the Grandhotel Ahlbecker Hof on the Island of Usedom. In 2012, he was appointed General Manager of the Steigenberger Hotel Bad Neuenahr. Mr. Hüttig has held the position of VPO for Steigenberger Resort Hotels since 2015. He went on to become a key driver of the Evolution Steigenberger project, which undertook a robust and innovative programme of further development to create a global brand with traditional roots.

He will lead the successful launch of our premium brand ‘Steigenberger Hotels & Resorts’ into new markets.”

The Steigenberger Hotels & Resorts brand celebrates its 90th birthday in the autumn of 2020. The name Steigenberger represents the epitome of luxury and perfect hospitality for guests the world over. The largest investment ever made in the Steigenberger brand was undertaken in 2019 in order to drive forward expansion of the global brand strategy as part of the Evolution Steigenberger project.

Steigenberger Hotels & Resorts is a Deutsche Hospitality brand. It represents the epitome of luxury and perfect hospitality. Visitors can choose from historic hotels rich in tradition, lively city residences and health and beauty oases at the very heart of nature. The portfolio includes 60 hotels in eleven countries in Europe, Asia and Africa. Deutsche Hospitality operates four further brands. MAXX by Steigenberger is a new and charismatic concept which places the focus on the essential in accordance with its motto “MAXXimize your stay”. Jaz in the City branded hotels reflect metropolitan lifestyle and draw upon the local music and cultural scene. IntercityHotel offers more than 40 modern upper mid-scale urban hotels, all of which are located within easy walking distance of railway stations or airports, whilst Zleep Hotels provide quality and design at an affordable price in Denmark and Sweden.
