Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, the world’s leading luxury hospitality company, has appointed veteran hotelier Andrew De Brito as the opening General Manager of the all-new Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi, anticipated to open in mid 2020.

Located on the top six floors of a 39-storey building facing the Imperial Palace in Otemachi, the new Hotel will be characterised by stunning city views from floor-to-ceiling windows in every guest room, a stellar collection of sky-high dining and drinking experiences, and an intimate top floor spa. State-of-the-art event spaces will be located nearer to street level for easy access by meeting participants, wedding guests and event attendees.

Paired with our boutique-style hotel in Marunouchi, Four Seasons in Otemachi will define the utmost in welcoming yet ultimately luxurious hospitality in the city,” says Andrew De Brito, who was most recently General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Beijing. “I am particularly excited about the food and beverage program, which will include two signature restaurants, two lounges, and a destination bar unlike anything in Tokyo today.”

Andrew first joined Four Seasons in 1992 in his home country of Malaysia at the Regent Kuala Lumpur (formerly a Four Seasons hotel). With a keen interest in food and beverage, his career took him through leadership positions in the company’s hotels and resorts in Aviara, the Maldives, Langkawi, Mumbai, Shanghai and Jakarta before assuming his first General Manager role in Beijing in 2015. There, in addition to continuing to position the Hotel’s restaurants at the top of the city’s dining scene, he was the driving force behind its acclaimed artist-in-residence program.

Andrew is a creative hotel executive with a sharp eye for detail, the ideal profile for the new luxury experience we are creating in Otemachi,” says Rainer Stampfer, Four Seasons President, Hotel Operations – Asia Pacific.

In addition to Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi, as Regional Vice President Andrew will also oversee Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi, Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto and Four Seasons Hotel Beijing.
