In his position, Mr Sarp will manage both the hotel and The Residences at Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum as well as oversee the development of Mandarin Oriental, Istanbul which is scheduled to open in 2016.
A seasoned hotelier, Mr Sarp rejoins Mandarin Oriental with over 30 years of senior global hospitality experience in operations and development. He held the position of General Manager at Mandarin Oriental, Singapore from 2000 to 2004. In subsequent years, Mr Sarp gained further hotel management and resort experience in a variety of destinations including the United Arab Emirates, Japan and USA. Most recently, Mr Sarp, under the umbrella of his company LNI Global Service Inc, held the position as Technical Director and Consultant for the Istanbul 2020 Bid Committee for the Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Mr Sarp is a graduate of Boston University and is a Turkish and Canadian national.
