Barcelo Hotels & Resorts today announced the appointment of Scott Fields as Director of Meeting & Incentive Sales for the Northern CA and the Pacific Northwest Region of the USA and Canada. Headquartered in California, Mr. Fields will oversee meeting and incentive sales for Northern California, the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada. Mr. Fields joins the North American team of sales and incentive specialists who support the meeting and incentive business for Barcelo's portfolio of worldwide hotels and resorts.
Mr. Fields brings more than 25 years of sales and marketing management experience to his new position. Most recently he was the Director of Group Sales for the Renaissance Palm Springs Hotel, CA. He has also served at a variety of hotels and resorts in sales management positions including the La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, CA.
"Scott is a result driven sales leader with expert experience in serving the incentive and meetings market," said Vicki Denfeld, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Barcelo Crestline Corporation. "We look forward to his experience and knowledge in serving Barcelo's growing number of group clients in North America," added Denfeld.
