Benchmark Hospitality International has promoted Greg Parsons to senior vice president of operations for the leading US-based hospitality management company. Greg Champion, chief operating officer, made the announcement.
"I am very pleased to announce Greg’s promotion,” said Mr. Champion. “He has preformed his regional operational role in an extraordinary manner. With this new position, Greg assumes national operational responsibilities for the Benchmark management portfolio.”
Greg Parsons most recently served as regional vice president operations for Benchmark Hospitality, overseeing properties in California, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Texas, the Virginias and Wisconsin. He has also previously served Benchmark as general manager of Eaglewood Resort & Spa in Chicago and as opening general manager for Stonewall Resort in Roanoke, West Virginia. Parsons joined the company as general manager for The Northland Inn of Minneapolis, which Benchmark operated at the time.
Mr. Parsons graduated from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan, with a bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management. He resides in The Woodlands, Texas.
