In the spirit of true Texas hospitality, the recently opened Omni Fort Worth Hotel is offering an authentic two-day adventure with its new “Cowboys and Culture” package. The experience is designed for guests to discover an unforgettable blend of Western culture along with an exploration of the nation’s third-largest arts district.
“Fort Worth is the city where the West begins and offers something exceptional for everyone,” said Ed Netzhammer, general manager for the Omni Fort Worth Hotel. “From the art aficionado to the western enthusiast, guests will have a truly genuine and memorable experience.”
The package starts with luxurious accommodations at the Omni Fort Worth Hotel and a pair of tickets to two Fort Worth favorites: Billy Bob’s Texas, the world’s largest honky-tonk, and the Kimbell Art Museum, one of the most renowned small museum collections in the U.S. Many famous western musicians and their fans have frequented Billy Bob’s over the years while the legendary Kimbell Art Museum is home to works by El Greco, Cézanne, Matisse and Picasso to name a few.
An advance call from the concierge will help guests customize their experience with other local hot spots - from the historic Stockyards to nearby Sundance Square, known for its many blocks of restaurants, bars, entertainment venues and boutiques -- including upscale western clothiers, such as M.L. Leddy’s, making custom boots, saddles and more since 1922. To further feed their cultural appetite, guests can peruse the numerous museums in the Cultural District. The city's museums house world-class art collections as well as the designs of internationally acclaimed architects. From the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fameto Andy Warhol’s works housed in the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, there are masterpieces throughout.
