For the fifth time, the restaurant Vendôme with Joachim Wissler in the Grandhotel Schloss Bensberg was awarded the highest possible amount of 3 Michelin stars.
The 3 Michelin stars that were awarded Nils Henkel, Dieter Müller's successor in the Schlosshotel Lerbach, are a special delight. This perfectly concludes the change-over at the helm that was planned for such a long time. Thus, this wonderful restaurant has received the maximum award for the past 12 years.
In the restaurant Endtenfang in the Fürstenhof Celle, 1 Michelin star has again been confirmed this year. An exceptionally high level of cuisine has been on offer here for 20 years.
The restaurant Zirbelstube in the Hotel am Schlossgarten has also been awarded 1 star again. It is deemed the best restaurant in Stuttgart.
A very rapid positive development can be seen at the Tegernsee:
Christian Jürgens from the restaurant Überfahrt in the Seehotel Überfahrt in Rottach-Egern was able to secure 2 Michelin stars from the onset in the restaurant that was only opened in August 2008. This is an exceptional success in an unbelievably short space of time!
All in all, the restaurants in the Althoff Hotel Collection now have a total of 10 Michelin stars in Germany and, with the Villa Belrose in St. Tropez, a total of 11 across Europe. This gastronomical competence is unique in the hotel business.
Thomas Althoff: "Apart from the best staff in the industry, finest architecture and design, the high gastronomical quality is also of special interest to us. I am proud of my staff, which has made this success possible through its daily hard work and commitment."
