The Loews Denver Hotel, today announced the appointment of Ellen Seymore as the General Manager of the 183 room property in Denver, Colorado. Seymore will be responsible for the overall operation of the hotel and will oversee the implementation of new initiatives being launched by Loews Hotels in early 2006 for the Denver property.
Seymore brings a strong background in operations to her position. Seymore joined Loews two years ago as the opening Rooms Division Manager of the Loews New Orleans Hotel. Previously, Seymore served 2 years as the Director of Operations at the Windsor Court Hotel also located in New Orleans.
Seymore's hospitality career spans 14 years including 10 years with Four Seasons Maui Wailea and Four Seasons Dallas at Las Colinas.
Seymore's role was key in attaining the AAA, 4-Diamond rating for the Loews New Orleans within the first three months of opening and established the hotel as providing excellent southern hospitality.
Seymore will be relocating to Denver from New Orleans with her husband Lynn and their three dogs.
