Reunion Tower to House Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Restaurant

Union Station Galas & Events to be Catered by Wolfgang Puck Catering

Hyatt Regency Dallas and asset manager/developer Woodbine Development Corporation announced today that master chef and restaurateur Wolfgang Puck will operate a signature restaurant and banquet space atop Reunion Tower when it re-opens. Additionally, Wolfgang Puck Catering will office in and operate the event space at the historic Union Station, also currently undergoing a Woodbine-managed renovation.

"The 50-story Reunion Tower has become an unofficial symbol of Dallas over the years, and with the addition of Wolfgang Puck's restaurant and catering, the tower will continue to be Dallas' most frequented destination," said Steve Vissotzky, general manager of Hyatt Regency Dallas. "We are excited about this partnership and the esteem it brings to our property and downtown Dallas."

Woodbine and Hyatt announced the $46-million renovation of Reunion Tower and Union Station in November of 2007. The new fine dining restaurant will be Puck's first in Dallas. It will occupy the space that was formerly Antares restaurant.

"We are excited to bring our great food and service in a beautiful environment to a setting overlooking an amazing city like Dallas," said Chef Puck. "Between our restaurant and catering services, I know everyone who comes to Reunion Tower and Union Station will leave with an enduring memory."

Tom Kaplan, senior managing partner of the Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group added, "With 15 fine dining restaurants coast to coast, we are very much looking forward to bringing our brand to Dallas. The iconic Reunion Tower location offers an exceptional opportunity for our group to expand into the Dallas market and to further help shape the changing culinary landscape of the city."

Carl Schuster, CEO of Wolfgang Puck Catering said, "We are especially excited to share in the common desire with Hyatt Regency Dallas/Reunion Tower to achieve the highest standard for dining in Dallas, whether in the restaurant or at an event."

The 1,122-room Hyatt Regency Dallas features 160,000 square feet of function space including three ballrooms, two exhibit halls, 56 meeting rooms and 42 hospitality suites. A historical perspective of the city is presented on three levels of the property through its Reflections of Dallas photo and art exhibit. The silhouette of the hotel and adjoining 50-story Reunion Tower has given the Dallas skyline worldwide recognition. The property is owned by entities affiliated with Hunt-Woodbine Realty Corporation. For more information, visit hyattregencydallas.com or call 214.651.1234.
