Since 2nd December, a new Bvlgari Hotel jewel, the seventh in the world after Milan, London, Dubai, Shanghai, Beijing and Bali, has opened its doors in Paris. Nestled between the Seine and the Champs-Elysées, in the heart of the golden triangle of the City of Light, on the highly prestigious Avenue George V, the Bvlgari Hotel Paris is a real piece of Italy in the heart of the capital and even aims to become "a second embassy in Paris", in the words of Jean-Christophe Babin, the CEO of the transalpine jeweller. This jewel box of 76 rooms and suites fully plays the card of refinement and promises, thanks to the human dimension of the premises, intimacy and discretion to its visitors. New York architect Peter Marino has retained only the structure of the original building in order to better implement his concept of combining Parisian hospitality with an Italian-style welcome. The stone facade and copper-framed windows give the place a modern look. Inside, marble, dark parquet and elegant woodwork decorate the interior. In the rooms, carpeting, woodwork, sandblasted glass and travertine cohabit harmoniously and give the space a natural and elegant touch that contributes to the prestige of this address. There is no doubt that the Parisian cocoon has been given the same attention, the same rigour and the same details as a Bvlgari jewel. A work of goldsmith as it is done in the Roman workshops of the brand. The 76 rooms of the 5-star hotel are particularly spacious - 55 m2 for the rooms, almost double for the suites - and comfortable. Each room has a terrace or loggia. Designed as true private flats, with a dining area, they benefit from refined furnishings, combining luxury and high quality finishing. The 400 m2 penthouse on the top floor is stunning. From its immense panoramic roof garden of 600 m2 on two levels and decorated with fruit trees, the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, the Grand Palais, the Invalides and all the Parisian monuments are offered to us and sparkle in front of the majesty of this unique space.
As in the group's other establishments, Niko Romito, a renowned chef who runs a three-starred restaurant in the Abruzzo region, will be at the helm. Il Ristorante will distil the best flavours of the Peninsula for the Parisian palate, from modern Italian dishes to the most famous dishes of the transalpine gastronomy.
Next door, facing the hotel's garden, the Bvlgari Bar reflects the image of the hotel: refined and iconic elegance. A place of character and exclusivity that should logically establish itself as one of the most emblematic and popular spots in Paris.
The establishment also boasts a sumptuous 1,300 m2 spa on two levels, which offers a complete range of treatments. To enhance the stay of its visitors, the hotel has a sublime 25-metre long swimming pool, one of the longest of all luxury hotels in the capital.
Like all Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts properties, the Bvlgari Hotel Paris was designed by the Italian architectural studio Antonio Cittero Patricia Viel. It combines a unique location in harmony with its surroundings, traditional design with spectacular contemporary Italian architecture, and superior service worthy of a masterpiece of jewellery. It embodies the promise of offering a true atmosphere of dolce vita in the heart of the "City of Light".
