A temporary pause of the operations, starting March 31, 2025, will lead the resort towards a new era since its opening in 2008.
Located on the authentic lush east coast of Mauritius, between the turquoise lagoon and the majestic Bambou mountain, the resort prepares to embark on a renovation journey to blend the coastal lifestyle and tropical elegance in its 10.5 hectare (26 acre) landscape.
“This is an exciting new page in the history of Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita,” says Martin Dell, General Manager.
“The resort has left a mark in the hearts of many Four Seasons guests for more than 16 years. Now, it is the time to step into a more contemporary experience rooted in the essence of Mauritius’ natural beauty. From earthy colours and brighter spaces in the villas and residence rentals to new dynamic restaurant and bar concepts and enhanced wellness and conservation initiatives, the property will be completely reinvented to exude timeless elegance and relaxed island living. The team is excited for the transformation, which will give the resort its new look and feel.”
The resort’s transformation revolves around unearthed luxury; led by the London-based 1508 London design team, the project includes a major upgrade of the interiors and the spa. Starting March 31, 2025, construction work will begin, elevating the Resort by bringing in more light, earthy tones, textured fabrics and natural elements inspired by the tropical surroundings of the resort.

We are confident this transformation will cement the resort’s reputation as one of Mauritius’ most sought-after luxury destinations.”
