Grand Sierra Resort & Casino is pleased to announce the addition of Alain Gregoire, an award-winning wine connoisseur, as the sommelier for its new wine bar, "Reserve."
Gregoire, a native of Deauville, France who first moved to Reno in 1966, has been the manager and sommelier at Roxy's in the Eldorado since 1996. A self-taught expert, Gregoire has created several award-winning wine lists. His awards include Wine Spectator Grand Award, Wine Spectator Best of Excellence Award and Reno Gazette-Journal "Best of Reno" Best Wine List.
Reserve will feature ten wine units. Each unit encases eight bottles for a self-serving wine tasting experience. Offering red and white wines and champagne, Reserve will feature popular selections from around the world. Gregoire will be on hand to introduce wines and ensure an educational and enjoyable experience for all Reserve guests. Cheese and appetizers will also be available to enhance the taste of the wines.
