Hilton (NYSE: HLT) is launching a new family experience at nearly 250 of its portfolio of hotels across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, as guests look to make up for lost time.
Parents from the global hospitality brand have curated specially designed activities and amenities for children under 12, giving families the chance to create unforgettable travel memories as restrictions lift.
Complimentary touches include thoughtfully chosen baby care items, beds decorated with a special children’s theme, and kids' menus with an emphasis on fun and relaxation for all. Families with babies can look forward to travelling light knowing amenities ranging from baby baths to booster seats are available on request.

Exact family experience packages vary by property, but touches include:
- A warm welcome at reception with their very own kids’ passport and family welcome letter
- A complimentary mocktail, bespoke kids’ menu, dedicated children’s breakfast corner and child friendly cutlery and crockery as well as dining high-chairs and seat boosters
- The opportunity to snuggle down under themed bedding with a special story book
Hilton is also the first major hotel chain to make it easier to book and confirm connecting rooms at the time of booking, providing an innovative solution to a decades-old problem for families and groups at a time when a record number of people are travel planning.

The travel brand has spotlighted a number of hotels in the region now offering these thoughtfully curated family friendly touches:
Hilton Bankside
Fascinated by Mr Fox, Hilton London Bankside offers a Fox Marks The Spot trail, perfect for families exploring London’s culturally rich South Bank.
Tiny guests will be greeted with miniature passports and a map to search for foxes during their stay, in a nod to the hotel’s longstanding relationship with the four-legged mammal. When the hotel was built, the architect and construction team had regular visits by the Bankside Fox who even left paw prints in the concrete as the hotel was taking shape.
Complimentary toys, goody bags, activity packs, sweet treats and children’s toiletries will greet little travellers when they arrive. Families can enjoy the heated indoor pool, before exploring Shakespeare's Globe theatre, the London Eye and the Tate Modern art gallery which are all just five-minutes’ walk away. Upon check out children can hand their fox maps to the concierge for prizes.
Family interconnecting rooms for four guests start from £273 with complimentary breakfast for under 12s.
Hilton London Metropole
London attracts unrivalled attention from UK and international travellers and 18 hotels across the capital are offering Hilton’s bespoke family experiences for little travellers.
Parents can sit back with the hotel’s Kids Take Charge package where children unleash their inner explorer to take charge of planning their family’s adventure.
On arrival, kids will check everyone in and using their very own planner, will be guided by the hotels’ Kid Concierge team on the best sights and attractions to visit and the best food to be devoured. The team will help future historians, scientists or zoologists plan their trip and discover all there is to know about their favourite subjects. The package includes an overnight stay, breakfast and an on-site chocolate treasure hunt.
Youngsters will be given a child-friendly map of the capital, a memory maker photo, along with a journal and crayons so memories of the trip can be kept forever.
Prices for a Queen Superior Room with two double beds, start from £126 per night, with the Kids Take Charge package available for a £15 supplement per family.
The Waldorf Hilton, London
While the children enjoy a mocktail, parents can peruse the menu at Good Godfrey’s Bar, where gifted drink slingers have been keeping Covent Garden’s visitors topped up for generations.
The hotel offers a full child-friendly breakfast menu with options ranging from eggs and soldiers to fluffy pancakes and cheesy beans on toast. Families looking to indulge in one of Britain’s favourite past times can book the Teddy Bear’s Picnic afternoon tea box priced at £15 per person.
Family rooms with two queen beds start from £306 per night room only.
Hilton Munich City
Tiny hands down, Munich is one of Europe’s most family friendly cities, with plenty of activities to please even the shortest attention span.
From Hilton Munich City guests can see the glockenspiel at Marienplatz square, soak up the family friendly Hirschgarten beer garden or immerse themselves in movie making at the Bavaria Film Studio. Many museums and castles in southern Germany even offer free admission for under 18s.
After a full day’s adventure little travellers can change into mini-robes and slippers, with colourful bedding ensuring there’s no arguments over who sleeps where.
The hotel offers Queen Superior Bedrooms, which feature two double beds, or guests can book Family Superior Bedrooms, with two double beds and a sofa bed. Prices start from £100 per night.
Hilton Vienna Park
Located within walking distance of Stadtpark and some of the city’s most famous attractions, families are spoilt for choice of what to explore first.
Whether hotfooting it to the Natural History Museum’s dinosaur exhibits, which include complete fossils as well as life-size mechanical reproductions, visit the world’s oldest zoo or take a trip on the giant ferris wheel at Prater Park, an eventful afternoon is guaranteed. The hotel has just completed a multi-million-pound renovation and launched three new restaurants and bars including Lenz Social Dining where families can enjoy traditional Austrian cuisine with a modern twist.
Parents should head to urban bar, Selleny’s, for homemade pastries, bar snacks and international cocktails and mocktails.

Canopy by Hilton Paris Trocadero
The newly opened 123-room Canopy by Hilton Paris Trocadero, features period architecture and touches of modern Parisian elegance, encouraging guests to feel as if they’re staying in a local’s historical apartment.
Situated in the cultural hotspot of Paris’ 16th arrondissement, the vibrant, neighbourhood hotel is within two kilometres of the Arc de Triomphe, Trocadero Gardens and the Champs Elysees. Families can start their day with an inclusive artisanal breakfast in Canopy Central or opt for grab-and-go meals delivered straight to their door.
King Junior Suites sleeping four start from £380 per night with breakfast.
Hilton Molino Stucky Venice
Housed in a restored flour mill on the island of Giudecca, young travellers can start their adventure with a 20-minute shuttle boat to central Venice, taking in panoramic views of the city and its surrounding canals.
With recently refurbished family rooms and suites, a rooftop pool, golf course and spa, families can combine relaxation with culture and Venice’s famed Lido Blue Moon private beach resort is just 30-minutes away.
Children’s menus inspired by Italian cuisine are available at the hotel’s four restaurants and inspiring chefs can learn to bake the city’s famous Bussola cookies. Upon check in children will receive a colouring book for mini pirates and princesses.

Hilton Rijeka Costabella Beach Resort and Spa
Hilton’s latest world-class leisure resort opened in June and is located between the charming town of Opatija and the vibrant city of Rijeka, surrounded by soaring mountains and cobalt-blue waters.
Featuring 132 rooms and 62 family-friendly villas and suites, the hotel enjoys one of Croatia’s best beachfront locations with 200 meters of private beach with mooring spots.
The hotel has two outdoor swimming pools, tennis courts and a kids club with activities suitable for children of all ages.
Parents can indulge in the ultimate world of wellness, with 3,700 square metres of spa facilities or sample the unique flavours of Croatia at one of the hotel’s six restaurants and bars.
Nightly room rates start from £135 with breakfast or £205 on a half-board basis.
Hilton Barcelona Diagonal Mar
This family-friendly hotel combines a chic beach front location with easy access to the city’s famed sites, perfect for groups looking to blend pool time with culture.
The hotel offers family friendly room categories including Executive Panorama Suites that connect with Twin Executive Rooms giving families more space, a separate dining room and sweeping views of the beach. With bike hire available direct from the hotel, little adventurers can explore on two wheels.
The Gothic Quarter’s warren of medieval alleyways is just a short metro ride away and families can take the funicular to the Tibidabo amusement park or recreate Lionel Messi’s trademark celebration at FC Barcelona’s Camp Nou Experience.
