Husseyn joins the resort from his previous role as general manager at Intourist Hotel Baku a property in the Autograph Collection by Marriott.
With over 20 years of experience within the international hotel and tourism sectors, Husseyn started his journey as a doorman at Hyatt Regency Baku, Azerbaijan. He continued to rise through the ranks with managements stints at Hyatt Hotels Baku, Azerbaijan and Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest, Hungary before thriving in roles as director of rooms at Four Seasons Hotel Baku, Azerbaijan and managing director of City Partner Hotels, Budapest. He then moved on to become the general manager of Boulevard Hotel Baku.
Husseyn attended Azerbaijan State University of Languages and speaks five languages fluently. In addition to his mother tongue of Azeri, he also converses in Hungarian, Russian, Turkish and English. Fitting perfectly into the ethos of Six Senses, his favorite pastime is gardening where he grows herbs, vegetables and fruit, an activity that also allows him to soak up personal energy from the sun. Husseyn enjoys traveling and discovering new cultures, learning their customs and their kitchen. He prides his own culinary prowess in the preparation of authentic Azerbaijani dishes.
