ASIA

The PuXuan Hotel and Spa (Bejing, China)

The PuXuan Hotel and Spa is a new architectural icon of Beijing’s skyline. It was designed by renowned architect Ole Scheeren and is managed by Urban Resort Concepts (URC). Opening its doors in late 2018, the hotel is a modernist masterpiece adjacent to one of the world’s most significant historic landmarks, the Forbidden City. The property features 116 spacious rooms and suites as well as several world-class dining venues and its signature UR SPA, focused on modern science and ancient healing. Conceived around URC’s new guest service philosophy of “Hostmanship,” the property provides inclusive and bespoke guest experiences that reflect generosity, intuitiveness and human exchange.

An uncommon experience not to miss: Celebrating the rich history of its locale, The PuXuan Hotel and Spa invites guests on a walking tour through Beijing’s maze-like alleys known as hutongs. First, stroll to ShiJia Hutong, believed to have been built during the Ming Dynasty and now preserved as a museum with exhibits from a hutong home of a bygone era. Following, marvel at the exquisite architecture and immerse in the ethereal sounds of Jing music by Buddhist monks at ZhiHua temple, a tradition that has been passed down 27 generations.

Capella Ubud (Bali, Indonesia)
