Following recent announcements for two separate management assignments, Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG), an Atlanta-based, private hotel ownership and management company, today announced that it has been selected by Garrison Investment Group to operate three Courtyard by Marriott Hotels in Myrtle Beach, S.C., Naples and Ft. Lauderdale/Coral Springs, Fla. These three hotels bring HVMG’s managed portfolio to 42 hotels and 8,060 rooms in 16 states nationwide.
“With five, third-party management agreements signed in the past thirty days, 2015 is on track to be one of the most active in our entire history," said Robert S. Cole, HVMG president and CEO. "We retain a healthy appetite for acquisitions and additional management assignments and value the opportunity to expand our working relationships with top-of-class owners such as Garrison. We look forward to earning their continued trust in us by achieving the aggressive business plan that has been laid out.”
Located at 3250 US 41 North in downtown Naples, the 102-room and suite Courtyard by Marriott Naples recently completed a major renovation to upgrade guest rooms and lobby space. The property is convenient to the Gulf of Mexico, the Naples Zoo and the Florida Everglades.
The 110-room and suite Courtyard by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Coral Springs boasts a prime location in Broward County at 620 N. University Drive, just a short drive from such attractions as Pompano Beach, Heron Bay Golf Club, Parkland Music Academy, Butterfly World, Seminole Casino Coconut Creek and Sawgrass Mills Mall.
With a recently renovated lobby, the 157-room and suite Courtyard by Marriott Myrtle Beach Barefoot Landing is located just one mile from the beach. The upgrade included the addition of the Bistro - Eat. Drink. Connect, offering healthy bites and beverages.
All Courtyard by Marriott hotels provide free, high-speed Internet access, fitness center, swimming pool and meeting space.
“These hotels expand our footprint in the southeastern United States by adding South Carolina to our roster and increasing our presence in Florida to nine hotels,” Cole added. “While we have a strong presence in the south, we continue to target underperforming hotels in any location that can benefit from our proven management systems. Our portfolio outperformed the competition in every market last year, and we look forward to helping these hotels achieve the same level of success in 2015."
