In his capacity as the Director of Sales and Marketing, Mr. Arora will be heading the Sales & Marketing division which encompasses corporate sales, wholesale, MICE, catering, conference services, marketing, public relations, revenue management and reservations.

With over 18 years of experience Mr. Arora joins The Ritz-Carlton from his role as the Director of Sales, The Oberoi Group, North Mumbai, prior to which he distinguished himself in leadership roles in other Oberoi Group’s hotels in Kolkata and Chennai. He was also Head of National Sales with IHHR Hospitality Pvt Ltd for two years.

“It is an absolute honour and pleasure to be a part of The Ritz-Carlton in a global destination like Bangalore. I am looking forward to moving our market share ranking to number one and to lead the team to achieve the higher levels in my new role,” said Shalabh Arora.

An Indian national Mr. Arora is an English honors graduate of the Delhi and Management Development Programme from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. He is married and has a son. He is passionate about reading and travelling as well as spending time with his family.
