Rezidor SAS Hospitality, one of the fastest growing hospitality companies in the world, has announced some strategic management appointments to better support the strategies and operations for the growth of its dynamic portfolio of brands and hotels.
One of the most significant changes are made in the Park Inn organisation. Park Inn has enjoyed significant growth over the last three years, and is expected to reach a total of 100 hotels by this year-end. Jacques Dubois has been appointed Senior Vice President, Park Inn, and will be responsible for further strengthening Park Inn’s presence, brand identity and revenue optimisation in various markets.
Dubois was seconded by Carlson Hotels Worldwide to Brussels-based Rezidor SAS Hospitality (then called SAS International Hotels) in 1995 to assist in the execution of a Master Franchise agreement between the two companies. Following to this, Dubois was asked to join Rezidor SAS Hospitality, where he has held several senior positions in operations, sales and revenue management, including Vice President of Marketing, Distribution & CRM, his most recent position with the group.
Olivier Jacquin will take over all revenue related responsibilities in his new role as Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing & Distribution. Jacquin joined Rezidor SAS in 2003 as Senior Vice President of Sales, heading up the global sales organisation in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the United States. He was also the mastermind behind the significant restructuring of the sales and revenue organisation of Rezidor SAS.
Gordon McKinnon has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Brands to further drive the development and positioning of Rezidor SAS brands and concepts. McKinnon joined the company in 2002 and under his direction Rezidor SAS’ brands have found their own unique niche in the market in terms of design, architecture, service concepts and advertising campaigns. McKinnon has also been the driving force behind launching Rezidor SAS’ very own lifestyle hotel brand in collaboration with the Italian fashion house Missoni.
Beathe-Jeanette Lunde has been promoted to Senior Vice President, People Development and Franchise Operations Radisson SAS Hotels & Resorts. Joining the company in 1986, Lunde transferred to the corporate office in 1992 in Human Resources department and was appointed Vice President, Human Resources in 1996. She has been instrumental in establishing the Business School @ Rezidor SAS and several other people development tools.
Marko Hytonen takes on a newly created position for the company as Vice President of Future Openings and Corporate Food & Beverage. In this role, Hytonen will develop the Food and Beverage strategies and concepts and manage the future openings of the group.
To better streamline the regional and hotel operations, Christian Gartmann has been appointed Area Vice President of UK, Ireland, France, Tunisia and Iceland. Thorsten Kirschke has been appointed Area Vice President for Germany, Austria, Bulgaria, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia, Switzerland and Italy. Michel Stalport has been promoted to Area Vice president for Russia, CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States), Baltics, Turkey and Azerbaijan. Martin Creydt and Jean-Marc Busato continue in their roles as area vice presidents for Scandinavia and the Middle East respectively.
