“Best In The World” Readers Choice Awards Honor Seven Benchmark Properties
Benchmark Hospitality International, a leading US-based hospitality management company, has announced that Hotel 1000, the highly acclaimed property in Seattle and one of the company’s Personal Luxury Resorts & Hotels properties, has been named to the “Top 100 Hotels in the World” list. The honor came as part of the “Best in the World Readers Choice Awards” just released by Condé Nast Traveler magazine.
The 2012 Best in the World Awards feature seven Benchmark Hospitality hotels and resorts in select award categories. Benchmark properties honored include Bardessono of Yountville, Napa Valley; Naples Bay Resort of Naples, Florida; Costa d'Este Beach Resort in Vero Beach, Florida; Turtle Bay Resort on the North Shore of Oahu; Willows Lodge of Woodinville, Washington; Hotel Contessa of San Antonio, Texas, and Hotel 1000 in Seattle, which placed twice in the Best in the World listings, including as a Top 100 Hotel in the World and as a Top 10 Hotel in the Pacific Northwest.

A record 46,500 readers of Condé Nast Traveler magazine participated in the 2012 Readers’ Choice Awards survey, selecting 1306 winning hotels, resorts, and cruise lines worldwide. The awards reflect the combined opinions of Condé Nast Traveler readers, rating the hotels, cities, and islands they visited in the past year.
