Wynn Las Vegas and Encore have been voted “Best Resort in Las Vegas” in the 2012 Readers’ Choice Awards issue of Condé Nast Traveler magazine. A record 46,476 readers participated in the publication’s 25th annual survey to determine the world’s best hotels, resorts, cities, islands, cruise lines and airlines. Wynn excelled in the Vegas resorts category, securing top honors amongst 14 other Las Vegas resorts.
"It is a tremendous honor to be recognized as the best resort in Las Vegas by travelers” said Marilyn Spiegel, president of Wynn Las Vegas and Encore. "Our dedicated team is committed to delivering the highest quality of service, comfort and exceptional experiences to our guests every day.”
Readers rated the resort’s dining options, location, overall design, rooms, service, and activities/facilities. Wynn and Encore scored an overall rating of 91.4. Survey participants praised the resort’s dining outlets, service and location noting, "The food is impeccable at all of the restaurants—we know because we tried them all!" and "the service is second to none, and we love the location."
The Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Award is one of many honors bestowed upon the Forbes Five-Star rated resort this year. Wynn ranked as the no.1 hotel and resort in Nevada on the 2012 Travel + Leisure 500 list and recently, The Buffet at Wynn was voted “The Best Buffet in Las Vegas” in an online USA Today readers’ poll. Additionally, Mizumi Executive Chef Devin Hashimoto was named “The Best Chef on The Strip” by Vegas Seven magazine.
