Benchmark Hospitality International, a leading U.S.-based hospitality management company, has named Dean Saltz controller for Eldorado Hotel & Spa, located in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Brad Hayden, Benchmark's chief financial officer, made the announcement.
"It is a pleasure to welcome Dean to our leadership team at Eldorado Hotel & Spa,” said Mr. Hayden. “He brings significant experience in hospitality accounting to his new role, and is a Benchmark veteran.”
Dean Saltz was most recently controller for Benchmark Hospitality’s Costa d’Este Beach Resort of Vero Beach, Florida. In this role he also served as field staff support, providing financial accounting assistance to all of Benchmark’s Florida resorts and southwestern U.S. properties. Prior to this, Saltz was controller for Bedford Springs Resort, a property Benchmark previously operated following a comprehensive restoration.
For a number of years, Mr. Saltz was controller at Benchmark’s The Chattanoogan, an award-winning hotel and conference center located in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where he also held field staff support responsibilities. Saltz served as assistant controller for both the Resort at Squaw Creek in Lake Tahoe and for Chaminade Resort & Spa in Santa Cruz.
Mr. Saltz attended San Jose State College. He has relocated to Santa Fe.
