Muriya’s impressive Salalah Beach destination will soon have a new landmark to boast with the grand opening of Juweira Boutique Hotel, a premier property that will play a major role in experiencing tropical Salalah.
Designed with a classic oriental theme by Egyptian designer Adel Mokhtar, the Hotel offers 65 guestrooms, including 21 spacious suites that reflect an elegant yet understated style in its orient decor and furnishings. It exudes a sense of luxury and serenity that is in harmony with the natural splendor of the place.
Poised along the Salalah Beach Marina promenade, the Hotel faces the idyllic waterfront, promising guests scenic views from the privacy of the outdoor terraces that overlook the majestic Indian Ocean. All the rooms are equipped with top class facilities aimed at the most discerning travellers, and offer comfortable and spacious areas to help unwind and relax.
It’s dining and entertainment alternatives vary from the tradition, thereby offering additional guest appeal. The menus are based on the philosophy of fresh, locally sourced food, presenting guests and visitors scrumptious food with options ranging from all-day dining at ‘Al Fanar’ or the speciality seafood restaurant ‘As Sammak’, where the fresh produce is cooked to order.
While ‘Al Fanar Restaurant’ serves a daily American breakfast buffet, a la carte lunch and themed buffet dining with a blend of international and regional cuisines, ‘As Sammak’ Seafood Restaurant, offers fresh, locally-sourced seafood specialties in an aesthetic setting that overlooks the marina. The Hotel also offers 2 pool bars: Sip n’ Dip is the perfect place to enjoy a cool drink and relax by the pool along the marina with light music and entertainment in the evenings; ‘Al Boom Pool Bar’, for traditional poolside snacks and refreshments; and ‘The Lounge’, located at the entrance to the Marina side is a perfect place for a gourmet coffee and cake in the afternoon or a relaxing aperitif in the evening.
Other recreational facilities and services at the Hotel include two swimming pools, outdoor Jacuzzi, children’s pool, gymnasium, sauna and treatment rooms, beach access, table-tennis, snorkeling and other water sports.
With the opening of the Hotel, Salalah Beach destination, spread over 15.6 million sq m - a mere 20 minutes from the Salalah Airport - will offer new vistas for guests and visitors to experience Salalah in its pristine glory. It will reflect Omani hospitality in every facet of its operations, helping guests to relax and reconnect with nature and experience Salalah in its touristic splendor.
Besides Juweira Boutique Hotel, Salalah Beach is also home to freehold villas and apartments, which offer a range of choices in terms of architecture, location and natural scenes of the mountains, lagoon, golf courses, marina and the sea. When complete, this destination will have five 5-star hotels, two Marina Boutique Hotels, 200-berth inland Marina and Marina Town, two 18-hole PGA golf courses, retail venues, restaurants and cafes.
