In line with Westin Hotel & Resorts wellness brand element, The Westin Resort Nusa Dua recently launched a RECHARGE STUDIO for the exclusive use of its Associates. The establishment of this gym facility will introduce all Associates to the concept of a balanced and healthy lifestyle. The studio comes complete with ultra modern exercise equipment for cardio workouts and strength training. It is a stylish facility that will enable Associates to experience Westin innovations that were once for the privilege of in-house guests.

Inspired by the brand’s signature guest experiences, the resort has instigated a number of special programs for its Associates that are designed to promote healthy choices and well-being both in and out of the workplace. This includes the availability of a SuperFoodsRx™ menu in the Associate Dining Room to encourage balanced eating. Associates now have the opportunity to enjoy nutrient-rich dishes that cultivate “food synergy” during working hours. There is also a weekly exercise session led by the resort’s Well Ambassador as well as the new RECHARGE STUDIO for Associates to regularly workout.

In conjunction with the brand’s Breathe program and Starwood’s environmental sustainability efforts, another new initiative will soon be put in place to improve overall air quality in the workplace. This will entail reviewing existing procedures and indentifying ways to conserve energy and educate Associates about the risks of smoking.

“In our mission to help our guests better themselves, it is also important for our Associates to experience our wellness philosophy first hand. Each and every one of them is a brand ambassador and therefore they need to live and breathe the concept,” commented Bipan Kapur, General Manager of The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali.
