For the 13th consecutive year, Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa has been presented the Greens of Distinction Award from Corporate & Incentive Travel magazine. Distinguished for its meeting facilities, overall hospitality, and golf offerings, Hilton Sandestin Beach was also judged on its staff's coordination of tournament arrangements that successfully hosted on-property meeting and incentive travel programs.
"We're honored to receive this industry recognition for the 13th year in a row," said Gary Brielmayer, general manager. The resort hotel, which recently completed $6.5 million in hotel-wide renovations, will be featured in the 17th Annual Greens of Distinction Awards section of the magazine's August issue.
Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa's accolades, however, don't end there. Meetings & Conventions magazine has also recognized it with one of 78 Gold Tee Awards in 2011, given to outstanding golf/meeting properties worldwide. Winners of the Gold Tee Award were nominated and selected by the readers of M&C based on their overall excellence and will be featured in the magazine's July issue.
Finally, Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa was also honored for its golf offerings by Condé Nast Traveler, the world's premier travel magazine, which included the resort hotel in its fifteenth annual readers' golf poll of the world's Top 125 Golf Resorts. Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa was distinguished as one of the Top 20 Florida Golf Resorts, making the list at number 13 in the magazine's April issue.
