Mark Heather, Regional Managing Director of Absolute Hotel Services India announced the appointment of Namrata Kalyani as Regional Director of Marketing Communications, effective June 1, 2011.
As Regional Director of Marketing Communications, Namrata is responsible for setting up the strategy and implementation of marketing communications, public relations and activities that are aligned with the corporate brands structure and distribution for each of the hotels and resorts under the management of Absolute Hotel Services India including branded U Hotels & Resorts, Eastin Hotels & Residences and Eastin Easy as well as all non branded hotels.
Prior to assuming her position at Absolute Hotel Services India, Namrata has gained her experience in marketing, branding and distribution as a marketing manager at Dignity Foundation, deputy manager - business development at DBS Cholamandalam Wealth Management for Eastern India Region and client servicing at NextGen Communications. Namrata graduated with a diploma degree in public relations from BILAMS College.
“Namrata has strong background in marketing and business development in many parts of India that will serve to drive more publicity and demand as well as building brand recognition to our hotels and resorts.” said Mark Heather, regional managing director.
