HUNGRY FOR A CHALLENGE?
INTRODUCING THE FUEL CHALLENGE BOOK!
Fuel, the family-friendly gastro pub at Langham Place, Beijing Capital Airport, guarantees good times with its dynamic mix of live music, bar sports, big screens and hearty comfort fare. Now, Fuel is getting even more fun – and a little competitive.
Running from 1 May to 31 August 2011, the Fuel Challenge Book presents five mouth-watering challenges and four fun-filled games designed to entice and entertain patrons and fuel great memories among friends and family at Shunyi’s favourite sports bar. Participants stand a chance to win free meals and drinks. They also collect points that can be redeemed for a host of amazing prizes, including an overnight stay in a Sweet Place with breakfast (above 6,500 points), a deck side BBQ with ten friends (above 5,000 points), and dining vouchers at Fuel (above 3,000 points).
Feeling game? Why not face the Fiery Brontosaurus Rib: finish one full rib with sides in 30 minutes and you get your meal free, plus 1,000 points. If it takes you longer, you can still collect a portion of the points. The Beer Baron challenges you to pour four beers in one minute without turning off the beer tap. If your beers are correctly poured, you get all four for free, plus 500 points.
If you can’t stomach the food challenges, you can try the Open Mic, whereby you sing a full song on stage and receive 250 instant points. If Fuel staff love your rendition, you get a bonus 250 points. Taking on your favourite arcade game or clearing the pool table in a single break are other ways to score.
The Fuel Kid’s Challenge Book is specially designed for junior players under 12 years of age, allowing mums and dads to relax in the knowledge that their children are having great fun while being well fed. All kids who take part can collect toys and other great prizes. Those that accumulate over 3,000 points by playing computer games or eating ice cream sundaes can take home the top prize – a free three-hour KTV party at Fuel.
