Vietnam’s newest seaside luxury hotel presents promo for business travelers

Now that Sheraton Nha Trang Hotel & Spa has carved out a niche as one of Vietnam's premier leisure retreats, the only five-star international hotel in this seaside city is elevating its appeal as a business destination.

>From now until June 30, Sheraton Nha Trang is offering a full-day meeting promotion with more perks than an exclusive frequent flyer program.

Well, maybe that's a stretch. But no one can argue the deal is attractive.

For US$150++ per person per day, guests are treated to a Deluxe Ocean View room, roundtrip airport transfer, daily buffet breakfast at Feast restaurant, complimentary access to the fitness facility and swimming pool, complimentary in-room Internet access and 10-percent discounts on body treatments at Shine Spa.

But it's what is offered upon arrival that takes the offer to great heights: a complimentary one-hour cocktail-and-canapés session at multi-functional Altitude, which at 28 floors up — the highest public perch in Nha Trang — provides an unmatched window onto a coastal region marked by steep hillsides, diverse cultural attractions and one of the world’s most beautiful bays (www.world-bays.com).

The special also includes two coffee breaks and one buffet lunch or set lunch on meeting day.

"Nha Trang's emergence as a MICE destination is real, and for good reason: It can now offer the type of venue that appeals to the contemporary business culture," said Debbie Chee, Sheraton Nha Trang's director of sales and marketing. "Toss in the region’s long-standing geographic beauty and cultural attractions and you've got an ideal getaway for corporate outings and events of that nature."

Since opening 10 months ago, Sheraton Nha Trang has established itself as one of the most sophisticated new lodging options in Vietnam, where international arrivals increased by 34.8 percent in 2010, according to the Government Statistics Office.

Signature characteristics of the towering, 30-story property include six stylish food and beverage outlets, the first purpose-built cooking school inside a hotel in Vietnam and a collection of 284 guest rooms, all of which drink in views of the aforementioned bay.

The hotel also features 1,600 square meters of leading edge event and meeting space including six break-out rooms and a pair of expansive ballrooms on the mezzanine level — the pillarless, theatre-style Grand Ballroom and the naturally lit, bay facing Yersin Ballroom.

Sheraton Nha Trang is located on the sunny south-central coast, less than an hour's flight from the Vietnamese business capital of Ho Chi Minh City.

The full-day meeting package price is based on double/twin sharing and a minimum booking of 10-50 rooms or 20-100 guests. A 50-percent deposit is required at the time of booking and full payment is necessary prior to group check-in.
