At a ceremony last week, the Indianapolis Marriott East was awarded the 2010 Supplier Marketing Award by the Indiana Society of Association Executives (ISAE). The award recognized newly developed marketing materials which promote the hotel’s facilities. The hotel’s marketing package emphasizes the flexibility of meeting spaces, expanded technical capabilities and overall beauty of the property.
“Our team worked hard to create marketing materials that tell the story of our hotel in a way that is both informative and exciting,” said Judy Blattert, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for the hotel. “So far, we have had great response to the materials from meeting planners interested in our hotel, and we are very pleased to be receiving this important recognition from the Indiana Society of Association Executives.”
The award-winning marketing package includes fact sheets, pocket-sized story books for mailing and trade shows and a 16-page compendium which walks a potential customer through a detailed description of the hotel. The multiple sizing of the collateral pieces adds convenience while the use of images from a recent photo shoot highlights the various features of the property.
The Supplier Marketing Award is part of the ISAE’s STAR awards, given out annually to association management and association suppliers that demonstrate excellence in a variety of categories.
The Indianapolis Marriott East boasts 57,000 square feet of meeting space and 315-rooms.
