In the lead up to World Environment Day on 5 June, stylish, boutique hotel The Luxe Manor is strengthening its commitment to protecting the natural beauty of the world by launching a new Green Package, as well as hosting an online game and forum for environmental awareness, ‘Make a Green Wish and Save the World!’. The Green Package allows guests to explore the nature attractions of Hong Kong, while the online website invites participants to share their eco-friendly wishes with a chance to win incredible prizes. Combine the luxury and unique aspects of this design-inspired hotel with the desire to make the world a better place.

From June 5 to July 31 guests can enjoy a special nightly rate in a Superior Room for just HK$1450. By booking the Green Package, guests can feel good about their stay, knowing that in addition to the designer surroundings, wireless internet and incredible, central location, 5% of the Green Package revenue will be donated to Greenpeace China in the name of room guest and used to fight for environmental protection around the world.

After a complimentary buffet breakfast at signature restaurant Aspasia, guests can start a day of exploring with a free one-day MTR pass. The Luxe Manor’s Green Package also includes two choices of entry tickets. The first one lets the guests ride on the Ngong Ping 360 Cable Cars with crystal bottoms through which visitors can view the lush, tropical forest below and the expansive South China Sea beyond. At the top, guests can enjoy ‘Walking with Buddha’, ‘Monkey Tale Theatre’ and a guided nature tour. Guests can also opt for tickets to have an aquatic experience in the Ocean Pack – home to Hong Kong’s incredible aquarium and with number of amazing Asian animals.

The hotel concierge offers guests information on the Green Pass to Hong Kong, an initiative that showcases the best eco-friendly tourist attractions in Hong Kong. Options include: bird watching at Kowloon Park; the Hong Kong Wetlands Park; a ride aboard the last traditional Chinese sailing boat in operation, the Duck Ling; Tai Chi Classes at the hourbour front; a guided tour of the Tang dynasty replicated Nan LIan Garden; or the opportunity to see Chinese Pink Dolphins in their natural habitat.

Actively looking to promote environmental discussions in advance of World Environment Day, The Luxe Manor will launch the ‘Make a Green Wish and Save the World’ campaign on its website. From June 5 through July 31, the online game will offer visitors a chance to go green and win big. Start the game to shoot the stars and make a wish upon the environment. Each day the highest two scores accompanied by valid wishes will win a one-night stay at this fashionable, eco-conscious hotel. Wishes submitted over the course of the campaign will be voted on by other eco-friendly visitors, and the winner at the end of the promotion period will win the grand prize: two round-trip flights to Hong Kong, a two-night stay in one of The Luxe Manor’s beautiful themed suites and dinner for two in the hotel’s delicious Italian restaurant, Aspasia. The best green wishes will eventually appear on the official World Environment Day 2009 website where they will inspire visitors worldwide.

The Luxe Manor prides itself on creativity, beauty and providing guests with the ultimate travelling experience. With the Green Package and the ‘Make a Green Wish and Save the World’ campaign, The Luxe Manor hopes to help showcase the natural wonders Hong Kong has to offer eco-tourists, and at the same time promote the protection of the environment around the world. This special package and the opportunity to win free stays at The Luxe Manor are only available for a limited time. Go green in style this summer and reap the rewards of doing something good for the environment.
