A team of three-Michelin-starred chefs & celebrity chefs takes Beijing by storm
Continuing the excitement of the successful grand opening celebration, the award-winning Hilton Beijing Wangfujing tempts you with the once-in-a-lifetime event featuring the stars of the culinary universe on June 8, 2009!
Hosted by Hilton’s own Executive Chef Yu Xiang Gu, the magical hands of five of the world’s most internationally acclaimed Michelin-starred culinary masters and celebrity chefs will create a dining experience nothing less than a highly celebrated gourmet gathering. From Italy to France, Germany to USA and all the way to Colombia, the renowned star chefs will take you by storm for one exclusive night only in Beijing!
On this magnificent evening of gastronomic extravaganza at the Hilton Beijing Wangfujing’s glittering Lantern Ballroom, each chef will inventively create a single and unique mouthwatering ‘masterpiece’, from a six-course epicurean exclusivity, set to awaken even the most hidden of senses. A champagne reception will pop the night off to a grand start. To top it all off, Master of Wine Dr. Ron Georgiou and resident Sommelier Peter Teng has carefully chosen an exquisite selection of wines to complement the evening.

The star-studded line-up of chefs who are coming to town to give gourmand a great food sensation experience is definitely one for the books:
Heinz Beck has won numerous accolades for his culinary abilities, he is arguably Italy’s most famous chef. Ironically, he was born in Germany and his restaurant, La Pergola, is housed in the Rome Cavalieri. Heinz, a three- Michelin-stars chef, specializes in Mediterranean cuisine and regularly creates new dishes to add to his already extensive menu. His inspiration is anything and everything – from museum paintings to Italy’s mountain ranges.
Heinz Winkler was the youngest ever chef to receive the three-Michelin-stars, when, in 1981, he was only 32 years old. He also was the first Italian chef to receive 3 Michelin stars and has now his own hotel and restaurant in the southern part of Germany.
Annie Féolde was the first woman in Italy to be awarded the three-Michelin-stars; she reigns both in Tuscany and Tokyo. Her biography reads like a fairy tale: a little girl who grew up along the Promenade des Anglais in the south of France, and then discovered Tuscany and made it her kingdom.
Jorge Rausch worked for three years with the well-known Chef Raymond Blanc in his eponymous restaurant Le Manoir Aux Quatre Saisons which has two- Michelin-stars and turns now his restaurant in Bogota, Colombia into the latest award-winning gourmet icon of South America.
