Fairmont & EMI Music Launch New Music Platform Online

Hotel Guests To Have Exclusive Access To Digital Music Through The Fairmont Music Store; Frequent Guests To Receive 15% Savings On Song Downloads

Looking for an innovative way to further enrich the guest experience and provide travelers with a hotel benefit “in tune” with their needs, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has partnered with EMI Music on a new branded music program providing hotel guests with exclusive access to an impressive catalog of digital music. Highlighting the new program is The Fairmont Music Store, an online portal housed on Fairmont’s award-winning website, which enables guests in North America to gain access to discounts on digital music and other music related experiences from one of the world’s top labels featuring artists such as Coldplay, Moby, Lily Allen, Keith Urban, Katy Perry, The Beach Boys, Secret City recording artist Patrick Watson (who appeared for an exclusive Fairmont performance at The Plaza hotel in New York City on May 5) and many more.

Through the new online music boutique, located at http://www.fairmontmusicstore.com/ and accessible at home, in the office, or at any Fairmont location in North America, site visitors have the ability to browse and download songs, albums, and distinctive Fairmont playlists from some of EMI’s top-selling musicians and emerging artists.

As part of the new music initiative, Fairmont is also extending discounts and additional benefits to members of its guest loyalty program: Fairmont President’s Club (FPC). Benefits range from a 15% discount for FPC members on any digital music purchased via the portal to priority access and ticketing privileges for special events and concerts featuring EMI artists.

The Fairmont Music Store is the latest initiative from the two companies, which have partnered in the past to infuse music into the hotelier’s Fairmont Fit program. In addition to providing frequent Fairmont guests with complimentary access to adidas workout apparel and footwear during their stay, the program features pre-loaded digital music players featuring hundreds of tracks from EMI Music artists.

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts’ exclusive guest recognition program, Fairmont President's Club, provides frequent guests special benefits and privileges designed to reflect individual travel preferences and offer an enhanced level of service. Personalized travel profiles afford members customized stay experiences while in-hotel benefits include private check-in, complimentary room upgrades, high-speed Internet access, TaylorMade golf clubs at select locations and exclusive vacation offerings.
