Per AQUUM is delighted to announce the appointment of Noel Cameron to the position of general manager of Huvafen Fushi, one of the Maldives’ leading resorts. Noel joins Huvafen Fushi from the world-renowned Singita Grumeti Reserve in Tanzania, where he held the position of senior general manager.
Noel has extensive operational experience spanning 20 years in award-winning luxury hotels and resorts across the UK, Africa and the Indian Ocean. A highly motivated team player and respected leader, Noel is committed to exceeding employee, guest, company and personal expectations.
With Huvafen Fushi now into its fifth year, Andrew Spearman, managing director of the Resort Collection welcomes Noel as an excellent addition to the team: “Noel’s knowledge of independent resorts that tailor to the individual will be instrumental in his role with Per AQUUM and complements the philosophy of the Resort Collection. He will build on the already strong foundation of Huvafen Fushi and lead the team into 2009 and beyond with passion, dedication and the visionary difference of Per AQUUM.”
Noel has completed courses with Cornell University in Singapore and holds qualifications in finance, management and wine. He is passionate about voluntary work and will be a key member of the Social Responsibility team at Per AQUUM helping to drive community initiatives and fair trade products.
