Believing the Fountain of Youth is in your very own kitchen, California Health & Longevity Institute offers an exciting new "Eat Well for Anti-Aging" class to help you unlock the life-prolonging benefits of superfoods.
First your leader, a registered dietitian-chef, will explain to you and up to 15 other participants how simple foods like leafy green vegetables, fish, nuts and berries can slow down the aging process, help you fight disease and even make your skin glow. Next, you'll incorporate these fresh ingredients in up to 10 recipes. One recent menu featured Carrot Ginger Soup, Barley Risotto with Spring Vegetables, Steamed Salmon with Scallions and Ginger, and Dark Chocolate Pineapple with Pistachio, to name a few.
At the very end, it's time to taste! Sit down with your fellow budding chefs and enjoy the fruits — and vegetables — of your labour. You'll leave the Wellness Kitchen feeling energetic and inspired to eat yourself healthy.
