CHARLOTTE DODSON
Charlotte Dodson provides bespoke regimes to people of ages, levels and medical backgrounds. Each class is a whole within itself and classes are designed to be light, playful and refreshing. Charlotte is a certified yoga teacher who has been practicing yoga for 8 years in London, India, New York and Sydney.
Charlotte brings a wealth of experience having practiced hatha, ashtanga and kundalini yoga with teachers across four continents. She has completed a 3-year International Advanced Diploma of Yoga Teaching at Nature Care Sydney and Charlotte travels regularly to update her knowledge.
She encourages students to accept, trust and believe in themselves. This approach hit a chord with supermodel Miranda Kerr, who cited Charlotte as her favourite teacher when she was in Sydney to shoot a Portman’s campaign in early August. “Charlotte is the best – her energy is really grounding and nurturing, it has become a part of my life,” says Miranda Kerr.
DR GÉRALDINE VAN BOXMEER
A graduate of the prestigious European School of Osteopathy in London, Dr Géraldine Van Boxmeer is also a trained Pilates instructor. Originally a medical student in Belgium, she discovered osteopathy when suffering from migraines. After just three treatments her migraines resolved, inspiring Géraldine to embark on Osteopathy training.
Géraldine uses a diversity of techniques with particular emphasis on structural as well as functional osteopathy and a strong medical background. Géraldine combines myofascial release, articulation, manipulation, cranial techniques and muscle energy techniques to restore the body’s optimal function. Géraldine is a native French and Dutch speaker and currently lives in Australia. “The body has its own capacity to heal itself once its natural balance is restored,” she says.
PAEA LEACH
Paea is a contemporary dancer, choreographer, contemporary technique teacher and Pilates and yoga instructor. Since graduating from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts at Edith Cowan University in 2001, she has worked as a performer and dancer across Australia and Europe. She toured and worked with Garry Stewart and the Australian Dance Theatre (ADT) as an original cast member of Devolution – the first robotics and dance venture of its kind to be created in Australia and toured and performed overseas. Paea’s most recent work has been with Joachim Schloemer, a German choreographer and director universally respected for his large-scale dramatic operas. She has taught dance for universities in Australia, for the Chunky Move and ADT dance companies, in the prison system and in professional studios in Berlin.
