JAL Hotels Co., Ltd. announced that it is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the opening of Ginza Nikko Hotel this year, and has marked this milestone by reopening the newly refurbished hotel on February 11, after extensive renovation.
Ginza Nikko Hotel's proximity to Tokyo's major transportations makes it an excellent place to stay for time-conscious business travelers and tourists. Built upon the old headquarters of Japan Airlines, the hotel offers guests a convenient location from which to explore the history and culture as well as experience the sound and sights of one of Japan's most fashion-forward areas. Nearby sights include the Imperial Palace; National Diet Building; the famous Wako clock tower; Tsukiji fish market; and major luxury retailers' flagship shops.
Staying true to the area's reputation for traditional yet forward-thinking, Ginza Nikko Hotel has renovated all 112 guest rooms, banquet rooms and the lobby for an added level of sophistication and comfort, including the latest high-tech amenities. The renovated hotel also now features a new warm and polished interior design.
Described by Frommer's Travel Guide as having "a personable staff...in an unbeatable location," Ginza Nikko Hotel is a hidden gem -- a friendly, intimate place for foreign travelers to stay in Tokyo, the largest metropolitan economy in the world.
