While 2009 is expected to be a tough year for global tourism and business travel, the U.S. lodging sector is likely to return to growth in 2010. Despite the current economic challenges, the U.S. lodging industry is likely to continue to benefit longer term from the rising incomes being experienced in much of the developing world.
