The International SPA Association will once again take Las Vegas by storm as attendance for the 18th annual ISPA Conference & Expo is tracking with 2006’s record-breaking event. Spa professionals realize that the ISPA Conference & Expo is an investment that has a positive return for years to come. The value of ISPA events such as Conference, along with research, business tools and education, can be seen in the results of a recent ISPA study that shows the average annual revenue per spa for ISPA members is more than double that of nonmembers. In another survey conducted by ISPA, spa members reported that they are focusing on education and training to increase their revenue. The ISPA Conference & Expo is a worthy investment as it’s the No. 1 source for the latest industry education and tools to help your business grow.

The ISPA Conference & Expo, set for Nov. 10-13 at The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino, will address current issues such as the economy and bring the latest industry numbers to attendees. ISPA President Lynne McNees noted that, “Spa professionals realize that making an investment in Conference is making an investment in the future of their business. The ISPA Conference & Expo will unite the spa community and provide solutions for dealing with the tough economic climate.”

The ISPA Conference & Expo will feature more than 75 hours of education, 300 companies in the Expo and one Academy Award winner when closing keynote speaker Sidney Poitier takes the stage. Another highlight of this year’s Conference will be the Visionary Panel focusing on the current state of the economy and how it’s affecting the spa industry. The panel consists of industry leaders and research aficionados, including: Kerstin Florian, president, Kerstin Florian International; Guy Kawasaki, managing director, Garage Technology Ventures and columnist, Forbes; Colin McIlheney, global research director, PricewaterhouseCoopers; and Pam McNair-Wingate, founder, Gadabout Salon Spas.
