THE AMERICAS

Stevan Porter, President of the Americas for InterContinental Hotels Group, has stepped down for medical reasons. Richard Solomons, the company's Finance Director, will take over as Interim President.

Ted Teng has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of The Leading Hotels of the World. He will succeed Paul McManus who will transition into the new role of Vice Chairman of Leading Ventures. Teng, a Cornell graduate, previously served as President, Chief Operating Officer of Wyndham International and as President of Asia-Pacific for Westin Hotels before moving into the same role for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide.

Richard Mignault has been promoted with Hilton Hotels to the position of Senior Vice President Human Resources and Administration from his most recent position of Vice President of Human Resources and Administration. He had previously overseen Human Resources for the Eastern Region and Northeast Region for Hilton. In addition, he has held various senior Human Resources Management positions with Windsor Casino Limited in Canada and SAS International Hotels in Brussels.

Hilton Hotels has promoted Craig Mance to Senior Vice President – Franchise Development for the U.S.A., Canada and Mexico. A 29-year Hilton veteran, Mance previously served as Vice President – Franchise Development, for the Northeastern region and Canada, a position he held since 2000. From 1992 to 1999, he served as Vice President - Real Estate Development, for the company, and held a variety of development and operations positions between 1979 and 1992.

Taking over Mance’s previous role with Hilton Hotels as Vice President – Franchise Development for the Northeastern region and Canada, will be Thomas Lorenzo, who previously served as Senior Director – Franchise Development, for the same region.

Dan Flannery has been appointed Vice President, Managing Director, for Edition Hotels, the lifestyle brand being developed by Marriott and Ian Schrager. He was most recently at the Ritz-Carlton New York Central Park South as Vice President, Area General Manager. He previously served as General Manager of the RIHGA Royal New York (then a JW Marriott property) before joining Ritz-Carlton as General Manager of the Ritz-Carlton New York Battery Park.

Dolce International has promoted Paul Van Wijk to Senior Vice President of Operations, North America. He most recently served as opening Managing Director of the Dolce La Hulpe in Belgium.

Bruno Brunner has transferred with Orient Express to El Encanto in Santa Barbara as General Manager. He was most recently overseeing the Windsor Court New Orleans and has served as General Manager for Reid’s Palace in Portugal and the former St. Regis Los Angeles.



David Teich was named General Manager of Orient Express' Windsor Court New Orleans, taking over from Bruno Brunner. Teich was most recently the Director of Food and Beverage Operations at sister property Charleston Place.



Clive O’Donoghue has transferred with Orient Express as General Manager of the Inn at Perry Cabin in St. Michaels, Maryland. He has been with the company since 2000, most recently as General Manager of El Encanto in Santa Barbara and Assistant General Manager at the Windsor Court New Orleans.



Scott Lundahl will be joining Ian Schrager’s Gramercy Park Hotel in New York as General Manager. He takes over from Clifton Atkinson who is now General Manager of the Chambers Hotel in Minneapolis. Lundahl has spent many years with Four Seasons including the positions of Hotel Manager at the Four Seasons Cairo at First Residence, Director of Rooms at the Four Seasons Nevis and, most recently, Hotel Manager at the Four Seasons Las Vegas.



Tod Chambers has been named General Manager of the Roosevelt Hotel in New Orleans, a Waldorf=Astoria Collection Hotel. Since 2006, he has served as General Manager of the Doubletree New Orleans. Chambers previously held positions as Resident Manager of the Hilton Pittsburgh, General Manager of the Doubletree Hotel Nashville and Hotel Manager of the Hilton Americas Houston.



Pierre Berthier has joined the Hotel InterContinental Guatemala City as General Manager. The Lausanne grad was most recently the General Manager of the hotel chain Las Americas in Peru, following eleven years in a similar role with Libertador Hoteles.

Susan O'Connell has been appointed General Manager of he Golden Moon Hotel & Casino. She has previously served as Vice President of Marketing Strategy at the Sands Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, as well as Vice President of Marketing at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Florida. Most recently, she assisted Pearl River Resort as a consultant with Mercury Gaming.

Ken Davie has been named General Manager of the Silver Star Hotel & Casino. He previously served as Vice President of Table Games for the Foxwoods Resort Casino and Vice President in the casino division of the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel.



Luis Aloma has been appointed General Manager of the Hyatt Regency Miami. Aloma has been with Hyatt since 1982, serving in various executive positions with the Hyatt Regency Rochester, the Hyatt Regency O'Hare and the Hyatt Regency New Brunswick.

Michael McMahon has transferred as General Manager for the Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain, scheduled to open in the fall of 2009. Previously, McMahon served in various marketing positions at the Ritz-Carlton in Atlanta, Houston and Rancho Mirage. Most recently, he served as General Manager at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort Naples.


The US Grant in San Diego has named Douglas Korn General Manager. No stranger to the area, he previously served as General Manager at the former Four Points by Sheraton Rancho Bernardo and the Grande Colonial Hotel in La Jolla. He spent the past six years as General Manager of the Westin Gaslamp Quarter San Diego, just a few blocks from his new hotel. At the US Grant, he takes over from Victor Barothy-Langer, who has left the company.


Frank Holtslag has been named General Manager of Sagamore, The Art Hotel in Miami Beach. For the past three years, he served as General Manager at Circa39. Previously, he held the title of Executive Assistant Manager for the Tides Hotel Miami Beach.


Ameristar Casinos has promoted Chet Koch to Senior Vice President and General Manager of Ameristar Kansas City. He has been serving as Hotel Vice President and Acting General Manager for the past year after joining the property as Vice President of Finance in 2006. He previously held various finance positions with the Grand Casino Tunica, Caesars Entertainment, and Windsor Casino.

Randy Bayard has been named General Manager of the Vero Beach Hotel & Club. He was most recently the General Manager of both the Portofino Island Resort & Spa and Beach Club.

Diane Rosenthal has been appointed General Manager of Pheasant Run in Illinois. She previously held various executive level positions with Wyndham and Dolce International.

Ray Hammer was appointed General Manager of the recently re-flagged Sheraton Dallas. He previously held various executive level positions with the Westin Park Central, the Sheraton Park Central, both in Dallas and the Sheraton North Houston.

Brian Panozzo has joined Sage Hospitality Resources as General Manager for the Sheraton Tucson. For the past eleven years, he had been with Omni Hotels with the last year spent as General Manager of the Omni Royal Orleans.


Jim Miller is taking a major step up with the Waldorf=Astoria Collection as General Manager of the Dakota Mountain Lodge in Park City, Utah. He comes from a sales and marketing background, previously serving as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Sandestin Resort and the Fairmont Wailea. He was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing at the Hilton Grand Wailea Waldorf=Astoria Collection in Maui.

Starwood has promoted Paul Sacco to Senior Vice President of North America Development. He joined in 2003, as Vice President of the Managed and Franchised Team for all brands. Prior to joining Starwood, Sacco worked for Swissôtel and Omni.



The Fairmont Turnberry Isle has appointed David Feder General Manager, taking over from Darrell Sheaffer. Feder was previously the President of sister property (through ownership) of the soon to re-open Fontainebleau in Miami. He previously held the title of President of the PGA National Resort & Club and was President and Chief Operating Officer of Boca Resorts.

Cornell man John Rolfs has taken over from Feder as President of the Fontainebleau. He had been with Ritz-Carlton for nineteen years, most recently as General Manager of the Ritz-Carlton Lake Las Vegas. He also previously served as Area General Manager for Ritz-Carlton in New Orleans, Boston and South Florida.


Gail Chapelsky has been appointed General Manager of the new Hermitage Hotel in Vancouver. Most recently, she was the General Manager of the Lake Louise Inn. She started her hospitality career in Vancouver at the Pan Pacific where, for seventeen years, she worked her way up achieving her last post as Director of Operations. She then held executive positions with the Victoria Marriott Inner Harbour and the Hollywood Beach Marriott in Florida.



Pierre Zreik has been appointed General Manager of the Allison Inn & Spa , set to open in 2009 in the Oregon Wine Country. This will be the third return to Oregon for Zreik who previously served as General Manager of Portland's Heathman Hotel and returned again to open the Avalon Hotel & Spa, also in Portland. He was most recently the opening General Manager of the Cavallo Point - The Lodge at the Golden Gate in Sausalito.



Dominie Lenz has joined Cavallo Point - the Lodge at the Golden Gate as General Manager. Lenz was previously with Xanterra Parks & Resorts as General Manager and Project Facilitator, and replaces Pierre Zreik at Cavallo Point.



Shakir Hussain has been named General Manager at the Blackstone Chicago, operated by Sage Hospitality Resources. A Cornell graduate, Hussain previously worked as General Manager with Royal Caribbean in Miami and, most recently, the Sheraton Miami Mart.

Destination Resorts is taking over the Sheraton Universal from Starwood and has placed Peter Walterspiel as General Manager, taking over from Ryan Laskey. Since 2001, Walterspiel has been in Las Vegas, most recently as the Vice President of Hotel Operations for Olympia Gaming. Prior to that, he served in senior management roles for the W Las Vegas, the Wynn Las Vegas and the Venetian.



The Bighorn Golf Club in Palm Desert has promoted Steven Cenicola to General Manager. He joined the club four years ago as Clubhouse Manager. Cenicola previously served as General Manager at the Viceroy Palm Springs and Santa Monica.



David Curell has rejoined the Kor Group as General Manager of the Viceroy Santa Monica. Curell was previously the General Manager at the Loden Vancouver for Kor before taking on his most recent position as Regional Vice President for Joie de Vivre.



Shaun Tucker has been named General Manager of the Willows Lodge in Woodinville, Washington. Most recently, he was the Director of Operations at the Hotel 1000 in Seattle.



Ray Hammer has transferred as General Manager to the Sheraton Dallas. He was previously the General Manager of the Sheraton Park Central, Dallas.



Donald Ponniah has been appointed President of La Torretta del Lago Resort & Spa in Texas. He was previously the General Manager of the Doubletree Paradise Valley Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona.



Stephanie Mehail has transferred from her position of Hotel Manager at the Langham Boston to take over the newly created position of Hotel Manager for the Langham Huntington Hotel & Spa in Pasadena. Mehail previously managed the Wyndham Boston and the Wyndham New York.



Hans Schaepman has been promoted to Hotel Manager at the Langham Boston. He was most recently with the Langham Huntington Hotel & Spa as Executive Assistant Manager. He previously worked for Ritz-Carlton for a total of sixteen years in a variety of capacities in such locations as Sydney, Naples, New York, Miami, and Sharm El Sheikh.



Marcio Azevedo has been named Director of Hotel Operations for the Silver Star Hotel & Casino. He has previously served as Area General Manager for Bentley Hotels and General Manager of the Vincci Avalon Hotel in New York.

Juan Rivera has been appointed Director of Hotel Operations at the Golden Moon Hotel & Casino. Most recently, he served as Director of Hotel Operations at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Florida. Prior to this, Rivera served as House Manager at SoHo House New York.



Mitch Mehr has joined Destination Hotels & Resorts as Vice President of Food and Beverage Operations, based out of the Rancho Palos Verdes pre-opening offices of the Terranea Resort. He was most recently with Kimpton in San Francisco as Senior Director of Operations West Coast. Previously, he served two years as Vice President Food and Beverage Operations for the Kor Group after spending six years with China Grill Management in Las Vegas as West Coast Regional Director of Operations.


Brian Marcus has moved to San Diego to take over as Executive Assistant Manager, Director of Food and Beverage, at the Manchester Grand Hyatt. For the past three years, he had been the Director of Food and Beverage at the Renaissance Las Vegas. He was previously based in Tokyo for five years, serving in various food and beverage positions with Fujimamas, the Hilton Tokyo Bay and the Tokyo American Club.



Ray Bertschy is now the Director of Culinary Operations for the Taj Mahal Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City. He was most recently the Director of Food and Beverage for the hotel.



Hassan Erroudani has been appointed Director of Food and Beverage for the Heldrich in New Jersey. He was previously the Chief Operating Officer of Karm LLC & Brittany Corporation in Orlando.



Ronan Doherty has transferred as Food and Beverage Director for the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay. He has been with Hyatt for more than thirteen years, most recently as Food and Beverage Director for the Hyatt Valencia and Santa Clarita Conference Center. Previously, he was the Assistant Food and Beverage Director at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza.



Zohair Mirza has joined the Hilton Woodcliff Lake as Director of Food and Beverage. Mirza served as Director of Banquets and Assistant Food and Beverage Director since October 2004 at the Four Seasons Washington D.C.



Vail Resorts has named Derek Koenig Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. Koenig joins Vail Resorts from Discovery Communications where he had been the Senior Vice President of Marketing since 2005. He previously oversaw brand advertising and marketing for America Online, Sony Electronics, and for Morgan Stanley's Discover Card.



Mark Cunningham has moved to the Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas as Director of Sales and Marketing. For the past four years, he had been with the Four Seasons Las Vegas as Director of Sales. Previously, he served as Director of Market Sales, Hawaii Regional Office, for Marriott International.



Steve Tremewan has joined the Westin Dallas Fort Worth as Director of Sales and Marketing. He was previously based in Lake Tahoe as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Calneva Resort Spa and Casino after serving in the same position for the Resort at Squaw Creek.



David Swift has been named Director of Sales and Marketing at the Sheraton Dallas. Swift previously served as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Westin La Cantera Resort and the Westin Riverwalk, both in San Antonio.



Jason York has been promoted to Executive Director of Marketing at the Pearl River Resort. He has been with Pearl River for more than a decade, holding several positions across many departments.



David Cole has transferred as pre-opening Director of Sales and Marketing at the JW Marriott Chicago, scheduled to open Spring 2010. This is a return to Chicago for Cole who served as Director of Sales at the Chicago Marriott Downtown and the InterContinental Chicago before taking on his most recent role as Director of Sales and Marketing at the JW Marriott New Orleans.



The Westminster Hotel has appointed Michael McHenry Director of Sales and Marketing. He was most recently a Corporate Sales Manager at the Westin Governor Morris Hotel and previously a Senior Sales Manager at the Sheraton Meadowlands.

Tom Santora has joined Omni as Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President of Sales. He has previously served as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Kor Hotel Group. Prior to joining Kor, he served in various sales and marketing positions during his sixteen years with Marriott.



Stephanie Hinckley has returned as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa. Early in her career she was the Director of Reservations and Revenue at the resort. Hinckley joins from the Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay where she was the Director of Sales and Marketing, a position she had previously served in at the Royal Palms Resort & Spa, and at the Celebration Hotel in Orlando.


Ocean Properties has named Kara Greer Director of Sales and Marketing for Northern New England, based in Maine. She was most recently the Director of Revenue Management for the Ritz-Carlton Hotels of New Orleans.

Personality Hotels in San Francisco has appointed Dayna Zeitlin Corporate Director of Sales and Marketing. She has previously held such positions as Area Director of Sales and Marketing for InterContinental Hotel Group and Director of Sales and Marketing for the Omni San Francisco and Hilton San Francisco Financial District.



Leigh Ann Pettus has joined Prestige Resorts & Destinations as Regional Director of Sales, based in Nashville. For most of her career, Pettus was a Director of Worldwide Accounts for Radisson Hotels and Resorts.

Eric Gavin returns to the Loews Miami Beach as Director of Sales and Marketing. He previously served as Associate Director of Sales for the resort before moving to the Don Cesar Beach Resort in Tampa as Director of Sales. Most recently, he held the position of Director of Sales and Marketing with the Grove Isle Hotel and Spa, part of Noble House Hotels and Resorts.

Barcelo Hotels & Resorts has named Pamela Payne Director of Meeting and Incentive Sales. Payne joins Barcelo from Sol Melia where she was a Regional Director of Group Sales. She was previously the Director of Sales for the Radisson Resort Hill Country San Antonio and the Corporate Director of Sales and Marketing for Allegro Hotels & Resorts in Miami.

Michael Kemp was named Director of Sales and Marketing for the Driskill in Austin. He most recently served as Area Director of Sales for the hotel division of Landry’s Corporation, working from the San Luis Hotel, Conference Center and Spa in Galveston.

The Hyatt Regency Chicago has promoted Andrea Kasnic to Director of Sales and Marketing. She was most recently the Director of Sales after joining the property in 2006 as Associate Director of Sales. She has previously held various sales positions with the Hyatt Deerfield, the Hyatt Regency O’Hare and the Grand Hyatt Atlanta.

Stacey Sidles Ollinger has joined Raffles L’Ermitage as Director of Sales taking over for Don Johnston who has left the company. She was most recently the Director of Sales for the Thompson Beverly Hills and previously for the Hollywood Roosevelt.

Joining the national sales team at the Broadmoor is Michelle MacMullen. For the past eight years, she had been with Ritz-Carlton, with the last five at the Ritz-Carlton Palm Beach. Before that she was in sales for the Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island.



The Grand Del Mar in North San Diego has added Vicky Navarro as Sales Manager and Marc Devereux as National Sales Manager. Navarro was most recently a Senior Sales Manager for the W Hotel San Diego. Devereux was previously a National Sales Manager for Wynn Las Vegas.


The Hyatt Regency Monterey has appointed Annette Emelity Senior Sales Manager. She was most recently the Director of Group Sales – Western United States, for Occidental Hotels and Resorts and previously served in sales position with Maritz and Windstar Cruises.

Theo Schoenegger will be leaving his position with the Patina Group as Executive Chef to join the Wynn Resort in Las Vegas. He will open Theo’s Restaurant at the Encore Resort at the Wynn later this year. Prior to joining Patina, Schoenegger briefly had his own restaurant in Palm Beach, following several years as Executive Chef at New York’s Palio and San Domenico.

The Kor Hotel Group has promoted Scott Garret to Executive Chef for the Hotel Avalon's Blue on Blue, replacing Gabriel Gabreski. He comes from his most recent position as Executive Sous Chef for Whist in the Viceroy Santa Monica.



Sam Hazen, the former Corporate Executive Chef for Tao restaurants in New York and Las Vegas, has joined Todd English Enterprises to oversee new projects.

Richard Dingle has been appointed Executive Chef of the Hershey Lodge. For the past fourteen years, he served as Executive Chef at Sunriver in Oregon. Prior to joining Sunriver, Dingle held various culinary positions with Harris Ranch and at Fess Parker's Red Lion Resort in Santa Barbara.

Franklin Becker has joined Sheridan Square in New York as Executive Chef. He previously oversaw the kitchen at the Brasserie in New York as Executive Chef. He was prior to that the Executive Chef for Grand Hospitality, the company operating the Soho Grand and the Tribeca Grand hotels.


Dominique Filoni has joined Parc in Philadelphia as Executive Chef, the latest restaurant in Stephen Starr’s empire. For the past two years, he was at the Four Seasons Washington D.C. as Executive Sous Chef. This is a return to Pennsylvania for Filoni who was the Executive Chef at Bianca in Bryn Mawr, and Savona and Tierra, both in Gulph Mills.

John Billings has returned as Executive Chef and Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at the Eaglewood Resort & Spa in Illinois. He previously served as Executive Chef for the resort before leaving three years ago to open his restaurant Monte's Steak House in Faribault, Minnesota.

Callaway Gardens in Georgia has named William Justus Executive Chef. He was most recently the Executive Chef at the Hershey Lodge. He previously held the title of Executive Chef at Ohio’s Brookside Golf & Country Club and Executive Sous Chef at the Opryland Hotel.

Tony Trujillo has been named Executive Sous Chef at Michael Mina's Stonehill Tavern at the St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort. He was most recently working the stoves at the Loft and Studio for the Montage Laguna Beach.

The Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort Spa & Casino has appointed Julia Chang Spa Director for the Stillwater Spa & Salon. She was most recently the Assistant Manager of the Stillwater Spa at the Park Hyatt Toronto.

The Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa has named Kimberly Weber Spa Director for Pacific Waters Spa. She was most recently managing both the pool and spa departments at The Spa located at the New York New York in Las Vegas.

EUROPE

Allan Federer has taken over as General Manager at the Ritz-Carlton Powerscourt in County Wicklow, Ireland. For the past year, he held the position of General Manager at the Ritz-Carlton Millennia Singapore. He previously served as General Manager at the Ritz-Carlton Istanbul and the Ritz-Carlton Montreal.

Stephen Kyjak-Lane has been named General Manager at London’s Royal Lancaster. He was most recently the General Manager at the K West Hotel & Spa.

Andrew Coney has been appointed General Manager of the Tower, London. Most recently, he was the General Manager of Slaley Hall Hotel & Golf Resort in Northumberland.

Gastone Di Domenico has been named General Manager of the Grand Hotel Palazzo in Italy. For the past three years, he has been in Sicily with the Grand Hotel & des Palmes as General Manager. He also served as General Manager of Il Ciocco Hotel in Lucca.

Patrick Hagen has transferred as General Manager to the Radisson SAS Leipzig in Germany. He replaces Ralph Goetzmann, who has moved to the Radisson SAS Liverpool as General Manager. Hagen was previously the General Manager of the Radisson SAS Halle-Merseburg.

The Kempinski Hotel Airport München has appointed Susanne Meinhard General Manager. She was most recently the General Manager of the Kempinski Pragelato Village.

The Geneva Kempinski Hotel has named Michael Henssler Managing Director, replacing Patrick Mossu , who has moved to Le Richemond in Geneva. Hessler, a Lausanne graduate, has been with Kempinski since 1997, most recently with the Kempinski Mall of the Emirates in Dubai, which he has managed since it opened in 2004.

Michael Helling has been named General Manager at the Aviator, a 169-room hotel owned by airport operator, TAG Aviation, on the grounds of the Farnborough Airport, UK. Helling was the former General Manager at the Hong Kong Club.

Xavier Bordedebat has joined Liberty Incentives in Paris as Director of Sales and Development. He was most recently running Solexpansion SAS as Co-founder and General Manager. He has previously overseen sales and marketing for Allied Europe and the Hotel George V.

Xavier Louyot has been named Marketing and Public Relations Director, Europe, for Dolce International, based in Paris. Louyot comes to the company from Le Méridien where he served for seven years as Europe’s Marketing and Communication Manager.

Ralph Mehrabani has joined the Grand Hotel Kempinski Geneva as Director of Sales and Marketing. Prior to that, he held the position of Director of Sales and Marketing at the Radisson SAS Royal Hotel in Brussels and at the Ritz-Carlton Penha Longa in Lisbon.

The Thornbury Castle Hotel has named Lee Heptinstall Head Chef. He was previously overseeing the kitchen at Middlethorpe Hall in Yorkshire.

Corinthia Lisbon has appointed Paulo Gervásio Food and Beverage Manager. Gervásio most recently held the position of Food and Beverage Manager at the Arabella Sheraton Son Vida Golf Resort in Mallorca.

ASIA AND THE PACIFIC

Marc Brugger has been promoted to Vice President Hotel and Food and Beverage Operations at the Crown Macau Hotel & Casino after joining them as opening General Manager Food and Beverage. He previously served as Director of Food and Beverage at the Four Seasons Dublin and the Park Hyatt Goa Spa and Resort.


Dipak Haksar has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer of ITC Hotels Division. Haksar was most recently the General Manager of the ITC Maurya.

Paul Yokota has been promoted to Senior Vice President/Chief Operations Officer of Prince Resorts Hawaii. Yokota, who has been with the Prince organization since 1993, was previously the General Manager of the Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki, the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel, and the Maui Prince Hotel.

Maria Elizabeth Villanueva has been promoted to the position of General Manager of the Linden Suites, Philippines. She joined the hotel in January as Resident Manager after serving as Director of Rooms for the Sofitel Philippine Plaza.

The Crowne Plaza Zhongguancun Beijing has named George Chiu General Manager. A Cornell graduate, Chiu was most recently the General Manager of the Crowne Plaza Hotel and Suites Landmark Shenzhen. Previously, he served as Area General Manager, responsible for Shangri-La in China.

InterContinental Hotels Group has appointed Michael Stevens in a dual role as General Manager for the Crowne Plaza Sanya and also as Sanya's Area General Manager. He was previously the General Manager for Como Hotels & Resorts Bali and also spent seven years in the Maldives, including some as General Manager of the Cocoa Island Resort.

Digvijay Singh has taken over as General Manager of the Taj Mahal Hotel. Singh previously served as General Manager of the Lake Palace in Udaipur and the Taj Connemara, Chennai.

Dhunji Kavarana has transferred as General Manager of the ITC Maurya. He was most recently the General Manager at the ITC Grand Maratha.

Arno Nicolussi Moretto has been appointed General Manager of the InterContinental Qingdao. Most recently, he jointly held the post of General Manager of the Swissôtel Beijing and Huaxia Swissôtel, both managed by Raffles International. He previously served in executive positions at the InterContinental Hotel and VIP Villas Riyadh, and the Jumeirah Beach Hotel Dubai.



Peter Simson has transferred as General Manager to the Hilton Kuching and the Hilton Batang Ai Longhouse Resort. He was most recently at the Hilton Colombo Residence in Sri Lanka where he served as General Manager for six years.


Roger Lim has been appointed General Manager of the Swiss-Belhotel Dakruco, Buon Ma Thuot in Vietnam. He has previously served as General Manager of the Crystal Crown Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.

John Webb has transferred to the JW Marriott Shanghai as General Manager. He was most recently the General Manager of the JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa and previously the General Manager of the JW Marriott Mumbai.

Fergus Stewart has joined the Tokyo ANA InterContinental as General Manager. He was previously at the Hyatt Regency Phuket as General Manager. In the past, he has managed the Hyatt Regency Sharm El Sheikh, the..
