In August 2008, World Food, LLC, the largest Florida based cut to order Produce Company, is celebrating one year under new ownership and new vision. Their clients have experienced top levels of quality service, while working with a safe and environmentally friendly company.

"Our Environmental Program is showing accountability through Packaging and Sanitation. We have stayed ahead of the competition by becoming the only processor in the state with a fully implemented energy program," says Candace Stottle, Managing Principle for World Food, LLC. "World Food has acquired Florida's Energy Star for Small Business. We are proud to also have the only measurable and well implemented Green Program in the state, for our industry."

World Food was founded in 1995 by seasoned Executive Chefs who recognized the trend to streamline production and better utilize skilled kitchen staff. In 2007, the company was bought by Tim and Candace Stottle, who brought with them extensive experience as an Executive Chef and successful business people.

"With World Food you will always communicate with a Chef or a trained Culinary Associate, who understands your business and challenges," says Tim Stottle, a successful Chef, now President and CEO of World Foods, LLC. "Today, the company continues the tradition with their staff of Chefs and employees who provide customized service, understand the latest trends and requirements in the industry, and ensure the quality and safety of the produce."

World Food, LLC is a proud supporter of the Pollinator Partnership, a non-profit organization dedicated to protect the health of managed and native pollinating animals vital to our North American ecosystems and agriculture.
