Hong Kong’s unique designer boutique hotel, *The Luxe Manor*, has joined Small Luxury Hotels of the World, the unrivalled collection of over 440 independent hotels in more than 70 countries offering “exceptional experiences”.

The luxury hotel with a “surreal” concept, styled after a European mansion joins a worldwide family of exceptional retreats, from classic city centre hotels and spa resorts to rustic country houses, idyllic private islands and secluded safari lodges.

The 159-room manor in Kimberley Road, Tsim Sha Tsui has been hailed as a “spirited alternative to the grandiose chain hotels normally patronised by visitors” in last year’s Conde Nast Traveller magazine’s annual ‘Hot List’ of the hottest, sexiest hotels, restaurants, spas and nightclubs opened around the world.

“*The Luxe Manor* targets a unique and stylish segment of the luxury leisure and business traveler market,” said General Manager Andy Castillejos.

“It aims to fill a niche for hotel guests who wish to be stimulated by their surroundings”, he added. “The hotel is quirky and fun, yet comfortably stylish.”

Beyond its unique design, *The Luxe Manor* offers high tech features including internet-friendly TVs and wireless-enabled telephony throughout. Also featured is a business centre with full secretarial services and function rooms.

The hotel’s signature restaurant Aspasia is helmed by the Michelin-starred chef Roland Schuller, formerly executive chef on Christina O, the yacht once owned by Greek tycoon Aristotle Onassis.

*The Luxe Manor* also backs onto the buzzing dining and entertainment district of Knutsford Terrace.

Small Luxury Hotels of the World was voted the top luxury hotel brand in the world in the Luxury Institute's 2007 Luxury Brand Status Index. Despite the recent growth of the brand, the selection criteria for new hotels remains as strict as ever with only five per cent of applications being accepted - a testament to the quality and high standards maintained at *The Luxe Manor*.

"The challenge that every luxury hotel brand faces in today's increasingly competitive climate is how to inject that element of surprise and deliver beyond travellers' expectations; whether it be a stunning and unexpected location, exceptional service or the vast array of experiences that guests encounter," commented Paul Kerr, Chief Executive Officer of Small Luxury Hotels of the World. "I believe that with the sheer diversity of hotels it adds to its portfolio every year, Small Luxury Hotels of the World more than meets this challenge," he added.

*The Luxe Manor* was recently voted as one of the top 1% hotels in the world by Expedia in the ‘Expedia Insiders’ Select 2008’ based on travelers’ option after their stays at the hotels, value comparison and a team of expert working for Expedia.

*The Luxe Manor* will be attending Asian Luxury Travel Market being held in Shanghai from 17-19^th June 2008.
