Golden Tulip Hospitality Group and Reco Productions initiate the development project through the signing of a letter of intent for the first Golden Tulip in Oegstgeest located next to CORPUS ‘a journey through the human body’.
Golden Tulip Hospitality Group is proud to announce the signing of a Letter of Intent (LOI) for the to-be-built Golden Tulip Corpus Oegstgeest.
Construction of this state of the art hotel commencing in the course of 2008, the Golden Tulip Corpus is expected to open its doors in 2009. The hotel will be located next to the recently opened Corpus "Journey Through the Human Body" Experience and a multi-functional congress centre (hosting up to 550 delegates). Next to A44 highway nearby Noordwijk and Leiden and 20 minutes from Schiphol Airport, the Golden Tulip Corpus Oegstgeest will offer 200 fully equipped rooms, a variety of meeting and conference facilities, a BRANCHE Restaurant, Bar & Lounge and a complete wellness area.
The owner and developer of the hotel is Reco Productions. The operation of the 200 room Golden Tulip will be executed by Golden Tulip’s operating division on a long-term lease basis.
Henri Remmers, owner and developer of the project says, “We are thrilled to welcome Golden Tulip as the operator of the Golden Tulip Corpus Oegstgeest. The unique tools and formulas that make each Golden Tulip property distinctive from each other and the chain's understanding and expertise in the international hospitality industry, makes them an ideal partner.”
Hans Kennedie, President and CEO of Golden Tulip Hospitality Group adds, “This hotel is truly an exciting addition to the chain's growing portfolio for a variety of reasons. Not only does this hotel position us in yet another destination in the Netherlands, but it is a unique project that combines elements of entertainment and hospitality that make it a perfect complement to our existing properties.”
