Radisson Hotels & Resorts® today announced the hiring of James Riker as the new general manager of one of its marquee properties, the Radisson Plaza-Warwick Hotel Philadelphia located at 1701 Locust Street just off the world-renowned Rittenhouse Square, the city\'s most prestigious residential, commercial and business district. Riker brings more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry to the position.
Most recently, Riker was with the Waterford Hotel Group serving as general manager at the Hilton Hartford Hotel in Connecticut. Prior to that role, Riker was with Waterford serving as regional hotel director with responsibility for multiple brands. Riker was previously general manager at the Radisson Greystone Castle in Denver and assistant general manager at the Radisson Hotel Pontchartrain in Detroit. Riker has his B.S. degree from the University of Utah as well as a Certified Hotel Administrator designation from the American Hotel & Lodging Association.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Radisson Plaza-Warwick Hotel was originally constructed in 1926 and features fashionable English Renaissance architecture. The 301-room hotel was fully renovated in 2007 including the addition of Sleep Number Beds by Select ComfortTM, 32\" HD Plasma televisions and marble bathrooms in all guestrooms. The hotel also features a new contemporary restaurant, Tavern 17, featuring upscale cuisine in a casual atmosphere. Other refurbished areas include a state-of-the-art fitness center and the elegantly refitted Grand Ballroom.
